What if Han didn't die..
If the Lightsabre wound didn't kill him and the fall didn't kill him the planet blowing up would've killed him and if that didn't kill him the lack of oxygen and exposure to the vacuum of space should have done it.

Just got home from seeing it for the second time. Rey beating Ren didn't seem as silly the second time. Clearly she has prior train and the force is awakening inside her but she clearly calms herself and allows the force to take over. Kylo on the other hand is wounded and distressed.

I know a few people have had issues with this but it is pretty much my favourite bit in the film.

It's a seriously holy shit moment. This chick is fully armed and operational!

There still remains traces of carbonite in the cells of his body. This preserves him allowing him to be recovered and resuscitated in Episode VIII.

EDIT: It's pretty obvious if you think about it.

...They had done such a brilliant job in the trailers of setting the false expectation that Finn was the one with Jedi powers that it still hadn’t fully clicked with me that it was all actually Rey.

It's odd that Maz tells Finn to use the light saber when it is effectively a death sentence to go into combat untrained with a light saber even if it doesn't require the force.

Also I noticed Han says 'I'll talk my way out of it like I always do' when the smugglers board his ship. Effectively he is saying he doesn't shoot first. I can't remember the exact quote.
No it was a joke, Han never talks his way out of it, he tries to talk his way out of things but it always ends up in shooting see: Greedo, the Death Star Detention Block Comms panel "it was a boring conversation anyway" etc.
