Watched some gameplay an decided to get this game, it looks pretty similar to KOTOR, which I was hooked on. Will be getting it after I come back from my holiday, I'd hate to get hooked in the next week and then not be able to play :p

We are planning on actual servers located in the area. The final location is being locked down, but when we say 'local' we don't mean 'in the US but with a label'.

They did it for WAR and even though I played that on release I can't remember anything about the server quality, or much else to be honest.

****ing awesome news. Swiftsure queue is back up close to 1000 today. Glad I decided to check before doing boring non Star Wars things.

Sitting at level 22 on my Shadow and due to being a gear whore I am fearing I won't have the 50k for speeder training at 25. Gotta start storing my credits somewhere that isn't accessible 24/7. I get all excited about building saber upgrades when I hit a new level and then spend all my money making them. Then I proceed to out-level those items in a few hours.

I do enjoy the making of things though!
 
Sites that sell game keys would be your best bet. G2Play have it for $65 atm, for example.

edit: looks like they have sold out. Maybe google up some other keysellers and see if someone has stock.
 
Great news on the Aussie servers, lets just hope that Telstra/whoever takes care of the servers dont get in a shitfight like what happened with the wow servers.

So tempted to buy this but im so invested in WoW at the moment I think any kind of social life I have would cease to exist.

Father Jack and I are on The Swiftsure PvP server, Republic. It is the busiest server which is good for grouping and PvP but the queue can get to over 2 hours long. It was up to 4+ hours before launch but they are slowly increasing the pop cap.

We are thinking of starting a guild if anyone else is interested. The more people we get onto the server the better and we can help you with getting started if you need it.

Edit: The queue is currently (3pm) about half an hour long. Anything under 45 minutes is worth the wait coz the server is highly populated meaning easier groups, PvP and a healthier market.

I'm thinking of ordering SW:TOR soonish. I'd rather get a physical copy, and i was looking at Amazon. Is there any place that has a significantly better deal? Also, shipping time isn't really an issue, as i still have to finish Skyrim before i start playing this :D

I am so excited to play this though. I've never played WoW, or any pay to play MMO, so i'm not too sure what to expect.

I knew we had maintenance at some point soon but 7pm again :( God I hope they come through with local servers and actually do our maintenance in our early hours. Heard of EU servers having maintenance scheduled at US times, pretty sure they don't do that now but EU is a lot bigger than AU.

Also, bloody well hope they are patching some of the lag issues. They extended the maintenance to ~4 hours, but they did that last week too. My only issue is the ****ing PvP lag, framerate drops and ability delay.

I've started sending most of my credits to my other char coz I can't help but spend it on trying to craft better gear. ~180k xp to level 25 and I fear I won't have enough credits to get my scooter license :(

If anyone needs crystals, enhancements, hilts or shields hit me up. My artificing is up to level 30 gear and I have a lot of lower level blues and purples with a shitload of lower tier mats. And the best thing about this crafting system is it doesn't matter what I'm doing at the time; I can get my lizard dude to make it.

I'm level 23 and have got about 63k. Seems pretty easy to get credits :thumbsu:
