I'm pumped for this. It looks like the first MMO with enough content at launch to actually keep most of its box sale subs passed the first month.

Exactly, where is Star Wars Battlefront 3 ??? Loved 1 & 2, don't know why they wouldn't make a 3rd game. Anyway, Star Wars TOR looks good, but why is it PC exclusive ? Wouldn't hurt to release it on the Xbox 360 would it ?

Because it's an MMORPG, they don't work too well on consoles (if at all).

They work, just that they take MORE work to get them onto consoles.

MS seem to have a few measures in place as well that has scared away a few MMO's from hitting their console.
 
When Sony are still releasing PC exclusive MMO's (Planetside 2 was just unveiled as PC exclusive), you know it must be a challenge to make it work on console.

FFXI still appears to be the benchmark for console MMO's.

You could put Star Wars music to even the dullest thing, and it would make it sound epic. Seriously.

Game should be amazing. Really impressed that you can dog-fight in space, first person style. Seems to be a mix of game play options.

What really sold me was the fact that you can play this single player if you wanted. Which is great news for me, since I hate MMO's and was shattered that this would be KOTOR 3. So yeah, sold on that part. Really looking forward to it.

Obviously we'll still be able to import, but this is still a massive '**** you'. It will have to be very, very good for me to buy it now.
 
Not happy, but if they give us Australian (or at least Singapore) based servers eventually then I'll forgive them.

so disappointed, been waiting on swtor for a couple of years now & to receive this slap in the face from EA makes me think twice about getting it.

Sure ill more than likely get it from Amazon & end up playing with wherever the aussies end up that do likewise but the people I had hoped to play with I think will be discouraged from importing it.

Except they're also limiting the stock available for pre-order in the regions that do have it, so unless you get in before they run out, you won't be able to get a copy until after release anyway.
