Just ordered mine off Amazon. Won't be here until early to mid January. Hopefully i don't finish Skyrim too long before that.

I just got an email from Amazon saying i can get into early access, because apparently i'm pre-ordering. Winning.

Edit: Not sure i will actually be able to get in with the pre-order code any more, but at least i can have the game downloaded and patched for when my copy arrives.

None shipped until the 16th. Mine arrived this afternoon, just after I'd given up all hope and starting into my moping.

It didn't take 2 weeks to start the shipping process, EA didn't give permission for retailers to ship until the 16th, which was 4 days before release and was supposed to give enough time for people to get their games before the end of the grace period.

When is this being released by retailers in Aus?

Am a massive fan of the Star Wars games, and whilst i've never really played a MMOG I have the feeling an addiction developing.

Anyone know where I could purchase this online?

The last i heard it doesn't come out here until March next year. That is about when servers will come up in Australia, and thus the release is around that time. They said that anyone who buys it from Australia before then will still be able to play on American/European servers and they hopefully will be implementing a server change option.

Downloading now after paying $58. Buying a new laptop may yet be the best decision yet.

Fairly certain I have a good enough processor, a duel core A4-3300M with Turbo Core Tech up to 2.5 Ghz. SRTest website couldn't pick that up. RUns another MMO of similar requirements fairly well

Yes and yes.

The fastest way to get into the game if you haven't already ordered a copy is to buy a retail cd key online and direct download from the swtor servers. This saves you from waiting on Amazon or any other physical copies.

Currently Level 30 Jedi Guardian/Republic on Zaalbar PVE server. We have an aussie guild of sorts setup called Jedi Walkabout.

Having heaps of fun. Hopefully we get more guild features soon like our own guild capital ship (yes they have said this will be in the future plans)

This is a story driven MMO. As a single player it is a heap of fun and even moreso if you quest with a good group of mates running flashpoints and heroics.

Joined the other week on the Jekk Jekk Tarr server as there weren't many people on it and some Aussies were playing on it.
Go on today and it's always full, why has everyone all of a sudden joined it.
