Joined the other week on the Jekk Jekk Tarr server as there weren't many people on it and some Aussies were playing on it.
Go on today and it's always full, why has everyone all of a sudden joined it.

Because it got released publicly like a week ago so more people have bought it.

You can, I've done it myself.

Make sure the first time you run the launcher you do it from the in the folder not from a desktop shortcut.

Have decided to park my JK for the time being, have discovered that there is a bug with the companion quests, a dark side choice i made after a certain meeting with the 'brother' means the companion quests don't open up. Seeings as this appears to be a major part of the storyline, I'll return to it when they sort it out, if ever.

Yeah I got that bug and cant continue my companions story.

Level 45 Jedi Guardian now and am enjoying it so far, thinking of starting a smuggler.

I've got that bug too but you should be able to continue it when they patch it in. Just a word of warning for you Jedi Knights; I got to 49 and was on my last class quest and for the final boss battle you're only allowed to bring T7. So make sure you gear him up on your way to 50 because there was no warning and my T7 is still wearing level 13 gear . Its a struggle to even get past the mobs outside the main building . Was pretty angry about it as I had only really used 2 of my companions so they were the most geared.

Was a huge huge fan of KOTOR and loved the old school RPG system it had. Not really a fan of MMORPG so can anyone who's played both KOTOR and now playing TOR tell me whether the online element of TOR detaches from the storyline, character development, etc somewhat. So what's it like in comparison to KOTOR? can you immerse yourself in the game to the same degree?

God I wish they had just made a new RPG for next gen consoles.

If you are a huge KOTOR fan, then buy it. You can get through one of the 8 class storylines in that month if you go hard, and from my experience (sith marauder only), the class stories are fantastic. Honestly, just this specific storyline is the best written Bioware story since Mass Effect 1. Imperial Agent class is apparently even better. You don't have to do much MMO stuff at all, most of it is optional, but if you're a massive KOTOR fan, then this game is a must.

As crazy as it sounds.. Bioware weren't talking shit when they said this game was KOTOR 3,4,5,6,7,8 etc. The amount of solo RPG content in this game would be enough to fill multiple KOTOR sequels...

Looking to build a new PC this year - desktop - and would really love to give this game and others a crack. I understand the minimum and recommended specs but can someone give me a rough guide of what sort of PC I'd be looking to build to play this, other new games and games coming out in say the next six to twelve months? Not sure, there is a beta currently running which you have to sign up for. I've signed up but still no luck as they pick you. Really looking forward to this game but would have much preferred a new Battlefront or KOTOR3.

The trailer is nice and i have played this game recently and i am much amused from this game so it is great inspiration for me to play this game.The concept of this game is amazing.

Finally got the game going. If you installed off the disc fixlauncher.exe does not appear and cannot update the launcher.exe.

Im absolutely loving it atm. Have 3 characters all around the 25 mark and have just started a Smuggler.

Not sure what i want as my main. I prefer to be DPS but not sure if i should go Gunsliger or Scoundrel?
