What's the rating number and where do I find it on my profile?

its your rating...so for example my rating in random 2v2's is around 1,000 (rank 7 diamond). The number is a better indication of how you're going rather than division/league. You might be in a really average diamond league, or a really strong platinum, and the skill level will be around the same in alot of games.

How are ultralisks broken?They now do splash dmg to units/buildings close to the building they are attacking. Which is good if you're a zerg trying to kill a PF being repaired by 20 scv's
 
You can deal with Ling rushes if you go 10 gate, chrono boost, using gate and pylon to wall with the zealot in the gap of the wall.

I think PvZ's are going the way of SC. Forge expand etc.
 
So... how many people here are making the switch to NA? It's a pretty big decision seeing as though your achievements won't be carried over.

I recently ran a tracert to us.blizzard.com and one to sea.blizzard.com and ended up with a ping of 165 to sea, and 220 to NA. I want to be apart of that massive NA community, but I'm not sure if I want to increase my ping and lose my achievements...

I'm getting around 200 to NA and 140 to SEA. I made an NA char, i think i will 1v1 on NA and continue to team on SEA.

I would just like to say a big **** you to Blizzard for basically making Protoss useless now.

I will not be building a zealot again... there is just no point.

is it really that bad? surely it only affects early game

the reaper has had a similar increase in build time but it seems to make no difference to early reaper build in terms of numbers after the initial 1-2 reaper rush/scout. I mean you have 1-2 less reapers after a few minutes, but can always build an extra rax to compensate.

I think the guy up there was right ^^ it will be a case of 1 gate forge fast expand into mass cols/goons i guess
 
The 2 gate opening is done.

The 5 second gap is the difference between a spine crawler finishing, a few stalkers finishing or a few workers being saved.

I don't see the point tbh of using a 2 gate build unless you're going all out.

The "all-in" 2 gate might be dead but the less extreme variants should be ok such as the one Mantra did.
 
Day9 has just changed the TvP matchup

Forget your robotics and Collosus builds. Carrier rushes are what it's all about.

Since the Patch ive only lost 1 1v1 (very close match which dragged on for 30+ minutes), the zealot rush is however dead.

You would be a fool to try to wall off as a protoss, I spend the first few minerals now putting up 2/3 cannons up close to my nexus to fend off early zerg/reaper rushes
