I think the hard thing may be fitting Francis, Gleeson and Ridley all into the 22.

The fact Gleeson and Ridley have the ability to play on small forwards makes it easier

Best 22 comes out of the first 25 named here imo. I especially want Ham and Snelling in the lineup, but I’m struggling to find a spot for them. Reckon we take 2 of Langford/Cutler/Ham. Could easily take Laverde over Townsend, but after today Townsend probably gets first crack.

I love Raz, but he’d want to show something in round 1.

This is the side for me too. You could make a case for all the emergencies you named. Ham has been great but Cutler probably adds a bit more in the air and in the contest at this stage. The return of Stringer is unfortunate for Laverde as he hasn't done much wrong.

I think Cutler has weaker competition on a wing. However if McKenna plays forward, we pretty much have the back 7 locked.
