With the injury to skippy thought i'd start a new thread where people can discuss what players, particularly rookies to start on the field each week.
eg. rich/beams, walker/brown etc.
think it's a tough area that is worthy of a discussion thread.

my main issue is walker or brown. i think walker is the safer option as adelaide dont have many options in their forward line and he has the chance of getting a bag of goals but mitch brown has looked like a great player who could rack up 20+ disposals and seems more likely to get 60+ rather than 40-60. at the moment i am going to start walker until brown does score a 70 or 80, especially as adelaide are playing melbourne.

Brown and Walker could both chop up this week. Walker plays Melbourne and Brown plays the zoning Hawks at Aurora. For those who don't know, on average, more DT points are scored at Aurora than any other ground.

It's not a tough choice for me. I'll have to play Walker and Brown because I have Skipworth and Hentschel and I'm not ready to get rid of either this week.

Not sure if many games if any have been played on Aurora yet but if so have the average scores dropped since the ground had been made a bit smaller?

Not sure mate TBH. When did they make it smaller? (I wasn't aware they had:eek:) Aurora was still the highest scoring ground last year.

Yeh, I've gotta start both with Hentschel and Garlett on the bench. In my opinion Walker has a higher scoring potential right now but Brown hasn't moved to his more natural forward line where I think he could score some 70+

That just makes Cox or Priddis captain sound even more tasty....

Not sure if Aurora has been made smaller permanently because I think they just did it in the NAB cup to make it the same dimensions as Etihad... make of it what you will

6 Rookies starting for me potentially 7 if Adcock is out with a late withdrawal

Starting:
Petrenko
Suban
Rich
Ziebell
Walker
Brown

If adcock doesnt play then Hill as well

Thankfully i chose Suban over Broughton.

Next week should only have 3 starting if Raines and NGB are back and i trade Skippy.

NGB + Skippy

Started Whitecross over Dangerfield. Whitecross has to be one of the best rookie pick-ups so far this year. Went Priddis Captain over Cox, got an extra point for that. All the rest bof my rookies are playing as I did not have a choice. I traded in J.Brown over ROK, hopefully Brown can step it up.

All around pretty happy with my desicion making this week :thumbsu:
