A little stat, if it helps to gain some perspective; Freakie was by far the Roys' most consistent performer, with 12 out of 17 games over 75 Exie points, and to back that up further his lowest average against each team was 81, against the Demons. :D
The mobbs medal will reflect exie points

GAMES
(columns are pretty damn well self-explanatory)

sJmi0.png

The Roys used 25 players across this season, although all bar one managed to play at least eight, which as backed up through their waves of match thread activity, highlighted how good their top 24 really is and the difficulty in cracking it.

12 posters managed to play every single game this season, although I'm sure Reardo wasn't really there for two or three.

DISPOSALS
(columns are total/average disposals, three highest tallies, kicks, handballs, kick/handball ratio)

Blame me for not adding the columns in (actually, thinking of it, who else could you blame) but it's quite clear to see just what made Freakie so dominant this year - his ball-winning ability. 360 disposals versus the next best Roy, conveniently named royboy2, and averaging 4 more disposals per game showed just why Freakie stood so far out from the pack and why he should poll well in the Mobbs as a result.

However, following Freakie, as I genuinely pause to listen to the words of some nutter screaming certain expletives at whom I assume are construction workers, as they've now stopped for the time being - true story - was a very tight group and a good solid core to support the top-end players, also including pantskyle. (But you won't win the Mobbs. ;))

royboy 29 was also interesting to note. A late recruit, he immediately burst into the midfield with a string of best on ground performances, and his 161 disposals came from just the eight games.

OTHERS
(columns are marks, tackles and a positive spin on one Mobbenfuhrer has done before - happiness)

7oPn6.png

Freakie's best category by far was his marking ability, and I'll let you do the maths on his average because I forgot to include it and can't be bothered re-editing it, but he averaged ((90-66)/17) more marks per game than the next best - Maroon Goon - who also enjoyed a good year. From there, the remaining result fairly consistently dropped all the way down to pants, who gave his all to tie with one-game superstar killer.

The tackles, though, may just have been the most interesting, with royboy2 smacking everybody, a defensive trait shared by few, as you'll see again later on.

Happiness, that's fairly self-explanatory. It determines how many free kicks you've earned versus given away - it's the backwards anger in Mobbenfuhrer's tabled stats in the archive. With 53 frees for and 16 against, royboy was comfortably the most pleasant player on the field and just about the sole reason why the Roys had a positive FF/FA ratio - 264 to 262.

'NA' states that the player earned or gave away a total of under ten frees this year, but still, Reardo is an angry bastard who quite frequently found himself trapped in a glass case of emotion in the key defensive post he held this seasson.

GOALKICKING
(columns are goals, behinds and accuracy - now with average stuff)

IN19a.png

Fred was the consistent rock of a forward target and comfortably led the Gorillas' goalkicking with 35 at what we consider dead-eye accuracy for a Season 15 full-forward; 45%. Cheetah was opportunistic and effective, nailing 22 goals from 28 shots. The Roys, overall, managed a good spread of goalkickers throughout, with only 2 players from 25 not managing to hit the scoreboard this year.

OTHERS
(columns are...there for you to figure out)

A couple of interesting notes.

The Roys managed a significant differential between their wins and losses, and even tackling pinnacle Royboy2 recorded a huge drop between performances, with an outstanding 104 Exie points a game in wins, dropping 36% down to 67 points a game in losses. Only Freakie, of their better players, was consistent in that regard.

Anyway, the rest is there, with totals and overall averages, averages at home and away - whichever it was didn't faze the Roys - and averages against each team with some interesting performers, such as 3KZ is Football's average of 111 against the Gumbies versus less than half that against the Bombers, Royboy2's average of 127 against the Demons (damn you to hell) versus 60 against the Furies, and so on.

There's also top three performances this season Exie point-wise and games above 75 and above 100 points respectively - and a congratulations to Kooka for 97 of his 228 points this season from the one game, from half-back against the Gumbies in Round 13, from 19 disposals, 6 marks and 4 tackles - as well as the final prices this season, where Royboy2 somewhat maintained blistering mid-season form to finish above second-placed Freakie, on $429,800.

tl;dr

Roys dun did good.

I read the tldr version Lol'd and then read the actual post.

I want to have your babies

Fecking awesome. In my five seasons in the SFA I've never seen the league as a collective go to so much length to document the statistics of each team. In particular the work of Mobbenfuhrer , Eth and MD has been superb. I also know that nearly all the team threads have some posting tabulation which is great.

It's great, which is one of the reasons I love the concept so much. I'm a major fan of statistics and have a whole database of statistics on the GFC.

Without statistics I find things can become tedious at times.
