forgive what you might perceive as my 'ignorance', but is the WAFL playing a rep game against anybody this year? Being in QLD its a bit tricky to try and get hold of this info.
I tried scouting various websites, but all to no avail.

ah sweet, does anyone know if it will be televised?
would love to watch it on i-view as its the only way to watch WAFL over here.

Yep, you can even register your state team and win, at this link: http://www.wafl.com.au/fanzone

kid_a as it is being played in Northam I expect it will be televised on ABC.

Horrible side.

Should get slaughtered.

Completely agree after looking at it again today. Of many I don't like I'll pick one, how does Kayler-Thomson get a guernsey?

Dominated at Subiaco all season.

No he hasn't. I've watched at least 3 of their games and he was servicable, at best, in 1 of them, but if you want a bloke to put it all on the line in a contest, well, you best start looking somewhere else. He's not quick, he won't chase, he won't get his hands dirty.

Great for the WAFL to defeat the VFL for the first time in a long time.

Don't be fooled into calling it a state of origin match, it's simply the WAFL against the VFL.

Plenty of players (including our captain and vice-captain) from other states from both sides.

that wa team could probably beat melbourne, gws and maybe dogs or suns if lucky

The VFL must be in dire straits to lose to that WA side. Still, first win over the Vics since the 91' SOO game apparently

The VFL side was poorly put together, only had two training sessions before flying over.
Also, a lot of the better midfielders had injuries and withdrew from selection.

That said the better team won on the day.
