At this very moment we have got two teams with enough people to play SoO. NSW, I dont think are going to get enough people in time for the game. Therefore we will be left with 5 teams and no team really wants to have a buy do they? So then we would get rid off the next team with the least amount of players which would be QLD. Then we have got a 4 way comp between, VIC, SA, WA and ALLIES.

This is very difficuly because not everyone can participate in this kind of this. Also one other thing, players selected to play for the International side cannot play in SoO as well unles they would rather play SoO than International.

This is not official i just want everyone point of veiw on this.

Thank-you.

******** off, no way can you scrap Queensland.

We won the competition last year.

Have patience. Give the thread another week or so, and don't clutter it up with mindlless rubbish. Have a nomination thread and a conversation thread.

Simple.

I don't wanna read all the n00bs whinge about representing the Allies and ********. Allies is a club, not a State of Origin team.

thats fine.

Nobody cares about NSW and QLD anyway:D
A bit of research never hurt anyone.

Last year it was a 5 team comp, 5 rounds, everyone gets a bye.

NSW's numbers have fallen apart. Put them in a team with ACT/NT and Tas and call them the Wombats and get over it.

A little bit of respect may help you get somewhere.

I thought this season that SoO was at a different time to internationals so that you could play both, according to the late Kapow!!!'s itinery I thought that SoO was in the mid season slot & Internationals at season's end.

I don't think anyone really has the stomach for mid season Internationals do they?

Count me in for the banana benders as well.

Don't know what you're on about Homer, nobody will complain about playing for the Allies, it will be a dream come true for them.

It should be timed so international players can play as well.

Last season i was seriously considering dropping out of the all-bf side to play for QLD, i came very close.

We need this sorted out ASAP.

Vic
QLD
WA
SA
Allies

are the 5 teams definately in?

I say add NSW to the Allies and have a Vic metro and a Vic country side. I know it's SOO but I believe that's the best solution.

Good to see logic filtering in to the conversation.

Maybe Kapow should work in with Cameron_K and they can both run the show, so silly ideas don't get publicly aired.

No offence Alkaline, but you embarassed yourself.

WTF. I'm gone for two weeks and already this comp is being soddomised. Jayzus.

Don't friggin change the states and the comp I already had set out. Signing up for state of origin is just stupid it's a representative team. Give states recruitment zones (VIC = Tas, SA = Nsw, WA = Nt & Act, QLD = International players) and have the straight knockout cup otherwise it's just not going to work.

Having the Allies as a State in State of Origin is even more ridiculous.
