Considering we are only going to get two average games this weekend, which of you would like to see state of origin brought back instead of this farce?

Yes - State of Origin should be brought back! ;)

Have a state of origin carnival every two years - during pre-season.
Participating States should include: Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales/ACT, Queensland, Tasmania and Northern Territory.

Abolish Allies!, I believe there is enough players going around in the AFL from states such as NSW/ACT, Qld, Tasmania and NT now for them to have a team from each of these states/territorities outright.

When there was only 12 sides - 2 players were picked from each team. As only 20 players made the final cut you were guaranteed at least 1 of your players were playing and they were the absolute best - real Dream Team stuff. Obviously the Vics had the best of every state playing for them and it got lop-sided. Then Sheeds brought in taggers and stuff that were not top rate players even for club sides. I used to barrack for the Allies (a real traitor) as we had most players playing for them, but all clubs should be represented regardless where they sit on the ladder and you want to see Greg Williams playing on Darren Jarman not some nameless little tagger. I think Sheedy had 6 or 7 Bombers playing against SA once and most of them wouldn't even be regarded in their own club. Best v the best, all clubs represented - the people will come again.
