It is a while away, but best we get some sort of idea what people want now

We have 6 teams, now in the one dayers maybe we should try 2 groups of 3, play 2 matches then the final is between the top side of each group?

Or it could be 3 matches, then the 3 winners play each other and the winner there winning

Or something else?

Tests is a bit more difficult with time, but open to suggestions

As for teams, if you want to change captains then thats a team decision, very pleased with the way QLD handled their changeover with ease in house :thumbsu:

Anyone excluded can be included as well, once again the captains can control their squads from here, but playing for the state of residence, not just filling numbers as I believe each state has atleast 12 now

i reckon 2 groups of 3, top 2 in each go through to semis.

Not sure how much time you want to spend on this Eddie, but id prefer to see a round-robin where each team plays each other team once, and then the highest 2 place getters play in the final, in both tests and one dayers.

Means quite a few games though, 26 I think, including GF, if my calculations are correct.

I also would like to bring up the topic of more teams. Im not sure what you guys have done in the past, but some squads have nearly 20 players, and if it's a knockout comp, half the players are likely to miss out on even a chance.

On the other hand more teams reduces the standard of talent, but again Im not sure what you want from this series of matches...i.e be it a high quality and exclusive series, or one where most people get a shot to prove themselves at 'state level'.

NSW actually. ;)
Well you can choose which state you play for as long as you were born or have lived their for a significant period of time. I chose NT (Born there) because there are that many Victorians, it would be pointless.

That was my next question, but I dont really want to rock that boat:eek:
We had a strong team as it was last season, I mean we won, so we could make another very strong team this season. One Queenslander was missed in the squad, am still deciding whether to add him to the training squad.
