This is my worry with duggan. Already super fit but not getting very much of the ball. It's much easier to get someone fit than it is to improve their game sense and ability to get the pill.

don`t be so negative probably not getting used when he provides a option or creating a hole as part of team running ..

Since moving into defence 4 weeks ago he is averaging 19 possessions a game and you would honestly take that from any kid in defence. He has found his natural role for the time being. Chris Judd described HFF as the hardest position to play and you can see that with so many mids struggling to play that position. He is 20 at the moment and i would give him 1.5 years to 2 more years playing as HB before thinking of introducing him into the middle.

A bit over ago Liam was down on confidence had no clue and only got over 15 possession on 2 occassions. he got his 2nd 20 touch game in 2 years last night and i would back him to get a few more this year and possibly a 20's and maybe a 30 possession game.

Duggans two monster games have come as a HBF, one in which Mitchell also ran the same distance, he might be following a number of different forwards and covering for players on a zone change over. He has had some 15km games as a mid/forward but he's never been given a starring role, not like Shuey, Sheed, Priddis, Gaff and to a lesser extent Yeo. He has always been second fodder, but he's stepped up when forced to play down back due to injuries.

Maybe that other game (Melbourne game from memory) where they both ran 22kms they were both putting in for each other at different times.

Where on the AFL app is this? I can't seem to find it.
Are you with Telstra?

I couldn't see it because I was logged in with a subscription (because I liked to watch on my ipad that didn't have a sim). My phone was Telstra though, so I logged out of the ipad, deleted the app, turned wifi OFF (so the app registers your Telstra data), reinstalled and then set up as a Telstra company. Then it was there for every game so far this year.

He had a huge first quarter(possibly half) in that game. By memory he had like 12 touches by the end of the first quarter. probably put in the same amount of effort to find the pill without getting rewarded.

Just had a look and Jack nelson who we all love is averaging 13 possessions a game and has only gone over 15 possessions 3 times whith a 22 possession and 17 possession game being his best 2. Duggan already is doing more offensively and defensively has been very good. That said i would love both to be regular 20 possession players and those two along with Yeo rebounding from defence would be deadly.

We more like nelson because he is a tough nut a true campaigner.

Also Yeo with 34km top speed, ******* flash.
He is seriously quick. People know his quick but his speed gets overlooked for athleticism and hands. He mowed down Polec (one of the fasted players in the comp) and then seriously burned off a kid who was rated as the fast player at Port and he was hemmed in at the boundary line as well.

Lack of shuey is curious..doesn't seem right.

Good to know duggan is working hard, he's is coming along nicely imo. When it clicks will be a jet.

I think it's worth noting that perhaps every player doesn't wear a GPS tracker throughout the game, whereas some probably use it for feedback even mid game.

Gaff is the best runner on the field in all but 2 of his games, that's from either side which is pretty incredible.

Shuey appears only in 2 "Top 5" lists, both are in the same game, maybe this was the only game he wears it?

Duggan runs 22 km at can't break 20 touches . WTF is he doing out there

He got over 20 touches on the weekend running less than 22km. 3rd highest possession getter for the team.

Mitchell racked up 27 touches from 22km and he is an absolute ball magnet. I wouldn't be too concerned. Duggan is tracking in the right direction.

He has shown he can kick. You don't just forget how. Maybe his kicking is suffering because of all the running he is doing? We draw that assumption from Gaff.

He has a nice kicking action, he looks like he is a good kick. The reality is he misses way to many targets. It matters not why that is because it simply has to improve dramatically.

Duggan scrubs a few but his kicking in reality is still better than wellingham, sheps, Yeo, gaffs, redden , priddis and Butler.
