Seeing Cripps' stats makes sense based on how he's been playing this season -

He seems to have slowed down heaps in 2017. Whether that be injury, whatever, the amount of times I've noticed him get out the back of the opposition only to be run down and pressured and have to do a shit pass is unbelievable.

That being said we ALWAYS use him in our fast breaks. He clearly positions himself well but it's letting the team down IMO. The fact that he's 1st for times gone over 24kmh yet not in the leaders for actual top speed shows that he's being regularly put into positions where he's running at his top speed (eg running towards goal being chased) yet isn't actually fast enough to get it done...

That's where we need a Garlett type, for any of the regular WAFL watchers do you think any of Watson/Rotham/Rioli would be fast enough? (I know Franky/Rotham are being played as half backs but we have enough of those atm). Or maybe even give Lamb a run, is he quick enough? Certainly has the endurance by the sounds of it. I just think we need a designated fast break player - right now it's Cripps and he isn't quick enough.

2 of those blokes are defenders. I fear Rotham will lose a lot of Pace in the coming years as the club looks to turn him into a KPD. Rioli could do it but i doubt he would have the fitness to repeat it.
