The ladder in brief :
32 Team Kournikova
24 Bigfooty Dragons
24 Seventh Wonders
24 Team Pump
24 Team Timmy
16 Pagan Ducks
12 Dingoes

Kournikova's AlfAndrews seems certain to become the Sweet FA's inaugural leading goalkicker, sitting on 56 goals from the 11 matches played so far. He is followed by Roger The Sheep (7th - 44), Visro (Dingoes - 33), TigerTank (Kou - 24), and then the rest of the field.

Hauls :
10 & 7 to Visro (Din)
9, 8, 8 & 7 to AlfAndrews (Kou)
8 to Shadow (Pump)
7 & 7 to Roger The Sheep (7th)

Jacs (Kou) leads handballs easily on 195, from Attenborough (7th - 174) and BloodstainedAngel (Din - 171).

In the kicks department, its Jacs again, on 136, followed closely by JubJub (Dingoes) on 135.

AlfAndrews leads the marks with 95, Roger The Sheep in second place on 93.

SS11 (Kou) has 100 handballs to his name, Ghost (Dragons) is next on 88.

TigerTank (23) and Joffa (22) show why Kournikova are such a strong tackling outfit.

EagleFan of Seventh Wonders has picked the most free kicks up (42), while Sbagman of the Dragons has given the most away (47).

Danni (Kou) still leads the behinds, with 36 minor scores to her name.

Highest Score - Seventh Wonders (210)
Lowest Score - Dingoes (44)
Highest Margin - Dragons (100)
Highest 1st Qtr - Dragons (63)
Highest 2nd Qtr - Team Pump (65)
Highest 3rd Qtr - Dragons (70)
Highest 4th Qtr - Kournikova (66)

Round Fourteen (FINAL H&A ROUND!) :
Pagan Ducks (6th) v Team Pump (4th)
Dingoes (7th) v Bigfooty Dragons (2nd)
Seventh Wonders (3rd) v Team Kournikova (1st)
Team Timmy (5th) have the bye.

Pagan Ducks are out of the reckoning, but, if they win by enough, they could upset the finals campaign of Team Pump. It's unlikely, though, as Pump's percentage is perhaps a little too healthy. Team Pump can actually win a second chance in the finals, but only if Dragons lose, and also Seventh Wonders either lose, or win by a nominal margin compared to that of the Pump.

Dingoes are also on their way to the mothball shop, and even a monstrous win by Stealth's lot should not be enough to see Dragons, with the highest percentage in the league, drop out of the finals. A win to Dragons will secure the double chance. A loss will lose them that chance, only if either 7th or Pump are victorious. They should both win, but, then again, so should Pump.

Whether Kournikova win or lose, and no matter the margin, the Titans are assured the second chance. Seventh Wonders, on the other hand, would love to win this game, and not just for the psychological win. If they win, and win better than Pump do, or thereabouts, and Dragons lose, then the 2nd semi final berth is there's. A couple of ifs, but worth aiming for. They'll need to lose by a heck of a lot to drop out of the finals.

Totally confused? Well, its a close one, with positions 2, 3, 4 and 5 all occupied by teams on 24 points! Check out the ladder on http://www.lexicon.net/POTOC/SweetFA.html and make your own mind up :D

Get your changes in!
The final round of the home and away season will be played over Sunday and/or Monday. Match times will be posted as they come to hand. Please have team changes in by Saturday night.

Alright Dragons....the second chance would be handy, so we need this game. We've won the last few after recovering from our slump, so we're hitting some good form. Good play by our midfield, you guys are really sending us forward strongly. It's been a good alround effort by the team and both Arnie and I are over the moon..

We have decided that the Dragons are having a B & F award, so keep up your game.

My final words are:

GO DRAGONS!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember an explanation about six rounds ago where I'd found an error in the draw? It was the same time that a decision was made to convert from each team playing each other thrice, to each team playing each other twice. An error had been found in the fixture-maker, which effects fixtures if there are 7 or 8 teams in the league. It actually organised for Kournikova to have four byes and Timmy to have none!

I altered the fixture to rectify this problem, but resources were not available for me to fix the lesser resultant issue.

This means that :
Kournikova play Seventh Wonders 4 times, rounds 1, 7, 8 & 14.
Some team misses out on playing 7th at all, and some team misses out on playing Kournikova at all.

I couldn't very well restart the whole season when six rounds in, so I chose this, being the lesser of the two evils (I'm sure Kournikova would have been pretty peed orf having to play two less matches than the rest - they'd have two less chances for premiership points). It was better to go with the opponent duplication.

I can fix the fixture template once the season is over. Also, we hope to have a couple more teams on board next year, which will put paid to the error, anyway.

Hope this explains the issue, Catman.

In other words, The club with the most members (Team Kournikova) teed up with the club that had the largest attendances (Seventh Wonders), and thrashed out a deal with SFA officials, resulting in four 'blockbusters' scheduled for the season.

( :D )

If you want a real indication of the largest attendances you can check at the number of 'views' each match has had.

You'll then find that Team Pump has had the highest attendances all season long ;)
