Essendon might be joining this list.

Highest score for the season <100:
2016* - Essendon (98)
2014 - Melbourne (93)
1972 - North Melbourne (95)

* 5 rounds to go

Pav's 349 games are without a draw, that would be quite unique in itself for such a large career tally would it?
Of the top 50 players by games played (310+ games):

John Blakey (359 games; 190-0-169)
Matthew Pavlich (349 games; 169-0-180)
Andrew McLeod (340 games; 185-0-155)
Tyson Edwards (321 games; 175-0-146)
Glenn Archer (311 games; 183-0-128)

Brent Harvey has won every milestone game: 1st, 50th, 100th, 150th, 200th, 250th, 300th, 350th, 400th

He also won his 312th game which broke Archer's club record for games.

He also won his 404th game to break Bartlett's league record for guernsey #29.

Can he win his 427th game this week as he break's Tuck's league record for games?

PS: Boomer lost his 186th game when he broke Peter German's club record for guernsey #29.

Apart from a team score of 4, which has never been achieved, 146 is the next highest total which has never been a losing score. After this, the next highest is 156, followed by 158, 160, 161 and 162, all behind the highest ever losing score of 163 achieved by Geelong in 1989.

Best record in Round 23:
7-0-0 - Hawthorn (and 1 bye in 1992)
6-0-2 - Geelong, St Kilda
5-0-2 - Adelaide
No team is winless in Round 23.
.
And in Round 24, Hawthorn, Geelong and St Kilda are all unbeaten.

I dare say that Hawthorn, Geelong, St Kilda and Adelaide will all win again in Round 23 this year

The Brisbane Lions have conceded 20+ goals in each of their last six games at the Gabba, this is a club record for both the Lions, and Bears incarnations up in Brisbane.

Current consecutive losses (unluckily absent from any recent wins):

20* - Courtenay Dempsey (ESS)
17* - Craig Bird (SS/ESS)
13* - Nick Robertson (BL), Garrick Ibbotson (FR)
12* - Daniel McStay (BL)
11* - Dayne Beams (BL), Alex Pearce (FR)

Most games
30+:
Post above from 2014, so I have updated for Boomer and Fletcher:
R7, 2005 was Fletcher's first game as a 30yo (game #231)
R8, 2008 was Boomer's first game as a 30yo (game #249)

Assuming Boomer plays the final 4 rounds and 1 final (at which point he'll be about 38y 111d):

195 Craig Bradley
190 Michael Tuck
184 Brent Harvey (432*-249+1)
170 Dustin Fletcher (400-231+1)
156 Kevin Bartlett
143 John Blakey
141 John Rantall
140 Kevin Murray
138 Robert Harvey
132 Tony Liberatore, Ted Rowell
128 Paul Les Hughes, Salmon
125 Bruce Doull

*could get to about 215 games in his 30s if he plays into 2018

I look at the next 15 oldest players currently playing (all aged 33 or 34) and some of them I consider to be very old, yet Boomer is 38: Corey Enright, Matthew Pavlich, Matthew Boyd, Sam Fisher, Robert Murphy, Sam Mitchell, Drew Petrie, Nick Riewoldt, Shaun Burgoyne, Dale Morris, Ted Richards, Jarrad Waite, Scott Thompson, Aaron Sandilands, Steve Johnson

Most games as a 40+yo:

10 - Vic Cumberland (5 as a 42yo, 5 as a 43yo)

Random trivia: There has never been a 41yo player. Fletcher was 40y 23d at his last appearance, while Cumberland was 43y 50d, however Vic did not play a game between the ages of 38y 35d and 42y 339d.

Two teams (Melbourne, Bulldogs) conceded more than three years per player in experience and won. This has only happened once before in the same round (2014, GC and GWS). The changing of the guard continues.

Goals in 2016:
192 -
Kennedy (67), Betts (54), Waite (29), Garlett (25), Bell (12), Hampson (3), Henderson (2) (ex-Carlton players)
190 - Carlton

Actually this is incorrect.

Ex-Carlton players have scored in total 210 goals this year, 20 more than Carlton.

You've left out Grigg (9), Robinson (2) and Jacobs (7) in that list - bewteen them they've managed 18 goals.

Since 2006, there have been 4 138 point wins.

2 of them recorded by Adelaide (R10 2006 vs Essendon and R20 2016 vs Brisbane.)
2 of them happened in Round 20 (PA vs Coll 2011 and Adel vs BL 2016.)
In the space of 2 years, Adelaide have beaten Brisbane by 100+ points in Round 20 (105 in 2014 vs 138 in 2016) splitting their wins in different states.

Last year's 138 point win by the Hawks over Carlton (173 to 35) was:

The highest score of 2015 (Hawthorn.)
The biggest win of 2015 (Hawthorn.)
The biggest loss of 2015 (Carlton.)
The biggest loss of their existence. (Carlton.)

In 2 consecutive years, 138 points has, so far, been the highest winning margin.

In all of 2006, 2015 and 2016, the winning score in each of the 138 point wins (188, 173 and 177*) ended up being the highest score that season.

*Still games to play.

From 2003-06, the highest scores went, in order, 187x2, 189, 188 and 188.
All but one of those 5 games featured a South Australian team (WCE 187 def Carl 71 R15 2003.)
All of these games were from Round 10 onwards in their respective years.

Richmond's losing score vs GWS (3.5.23) became the equal lowest score by a Victorian team since 1999 (the other team was Essendon who played West Coast in R4 1999 losing to the Eagles 97-23.)

Dustin Martin became the first player from the 2009 AFL Draft and the first player to debut in 2010 to reach 150 career games.

Over the weekend, on 2 consecutive days, 2 teams registered a winning score of 100 (Sydney and Geelong) and the loser scored 33 and 34 respectively (Port Adelaide and Essendon.)

Alastair Clarkson needs 3 more wins to become the "winningest" coach ever at Hawthorn:
181 wins - John Kennedy Sr
178 wins - Alastair Clarkson

Though he needs 10 more to overtake John Kennedy Sr for most H&A wins for Hawthorn.

I dare say that Hawthorn, Geelong, St Kilda and Adelaide will all win again in Round 23 this year
Interestingly prior to the smackings St Kilda received in 2014 and 2015, they had never been defeated in round 23 either, making them and Hawthorn the only sides to have never been defeated in round 23 or Round 24.

Now Hawthorn is the only team who can boast that record.

I dare say we have never seen anything like this before.

Losing streaks in 2016:

17 - Essendon*
12 - Brisbane
10 - Fremantle, Gold Coast
9 - Carlton*, Fremantle [if they lose to Ade(h), GWS(a), WB(h)]

In R11, we saw Fremantle (10L) v Essendon (8L)
In R19, we saw Essendon (14L) v Brisbane (12L)
In R23, we could see Essendon (19L) v Carlton (10L)
