Enjoyed the word-association commentary from Bruce McAvaney last night, though I'm quite sure it was inadvertent. Had it come from Dennis Cometti it would most likely have been deliberate. The moment came after Brian Lake's goal near the three minute mark of the third quarter. It was the first goal of the game since the nine and a half minute mark of the second quarter, some 20 minutes previously. After Lake's goal went through, Bruce summed it up thus, "He's broken the drought, Lake."
