Swans 4th best ever end of season percentage (151.19%). Top 3 however were in 1909, 1912 and 1919.

Only 2nd ever 17-5 season (also 2014).
 
I always thought that Doug Hawkins had played the most games having changed clubs. He wasn't.

Doug Hawkins - 329 games then 21 with Fitzroy (1995)
John Rantall - 330 games then 6 with Fitzroy (1980)

Brent Harvey might smash this record with probably 432 games.
 
Let's assume Boomer finishes on 432 games for North. If he plays on in 2017:

After 11 games, North Melbourne (1st) were 6 games and 48% clear of St Kilda (13th).

After 22 games, North Melbourne edged out St Kilda for 8th spot by <10%.

A -61 aggregate against Swans and Richmond was not quite what St Kilda needed. That said, they were a long shot to sneak in anyway.

Rantall's 330 games were actually a combination of games played at South Melbourne and North Melbourne before he went to Fitzroy. So it looks as though Hawkins should hold the record.

For one club, yes, unless Boomer goes to a new club. I was more concerned who had played the most games before swapping clubs, regardless if it was 1 club (Hawkins) or more (Rantall).

Discounting the Fitzroy players of 1916, when the Lions finished as both premiers and wooden-spooners in a war affected competition, just two men have the unusual distinction of playing for both the premiers and last placed team in the same season; George Collard and Ken Newton.

In 1938, Collard started the season with Carlton, playing one game for the Blues before transferring to South Melbourne, where he played seven games for the Swans. Carlton defeated Collingwood to take out the 1938 premiership, while South Melbourne finished last, an amazing and fast fall for the Swans which had been a very good team and made the Grand Final in 1936.

In 1950, Ken Newton commenced the season with three victories with Essendon, but left the Bombers after this and transferred to Hawthorn, where he played eight games for the Hawks for the remainder of the 1950 season. While Essendon and Hawthorn might have dominated the competition in the mid 1980s, in 1950 the teams could not have been more different. Essendon completely dominated the 1950 season, losing just once and cruising to an easy premiership win in the Grand Final. Last placed Hawthorn had one of the worst seasons ever, failing to win a game and copping some absolute canings.

Provided he doesn't kick a goal this weekend, North Melbourne defender Michael Firrito will finish his career by equalling club legend David Dench on 275 games and 29 goals.

2012: (18) The one only year he hasn't increased his yearly goals total, when he was injured and played a handful of games.

I would be surprised if there are many instances of a player increasing their best year in a statistical category 10 times.
