What was Collingwood/Freo last week? Dockers got out to a handsome lead of over 7 goals I thought..maybe wrong though.
Fremantle's biggest lead was 44 points, so Geelong's 51 point lead against Hawthorn last season seems to be the winner.

St. Kilda's last three games has seen them score 13.13, 9.9 and 11.11. Has any other team compiled the same number of goals and behinds in three successive games?

Yes, they really should add "documented cases only", as they do with Players Who Scored A Goal With Their First Kick At AFL Level, as it's obviously misleading. I'll send them an email regarding the 2001 comeback.
I have passed this on to the editor of the AFL Record Season Guide. I haven't received a reply, and it hasn't appeared on the 2013 AFL Record Season Guide Updates page:-How did you go with this (In relation to the Bulldogs' comeback from 47 points down vs. Geelong in 2001)? Have you had any response?
Who has kicked the most career goals without once having kicked the most goals for his team in any game?
I've read a bit about Trevor Sutton over the years (and can vaguely remember seeing him play for Norwood in the SANFL) and it looks like he may hold the record, with 249 for Deniliquin in 1982.non AFL related but does anyone know the record in australia for goals in a senior footy year?
logged in to check out the weekends results from my competition and down the side bar was the sportingpulse leading goal kicekrs and a guy called aaron purcell has just knocked up his 92nd major and we are only in May. That's ridiculous. Well on track for 200+

It would be pretty hard to get a guage on the Picola and District Football Netball League standard is like, but it's in the riverina area.
I know Peter Ruskulic kicked 213 for the East Sydney Bulldogs in the early 80's which is considered to be a record for a major competition in australia, although once again the standard of Sydney AFL in the early 80's was probably not what it is today with a fair influx of interstate players these days. Although maybe, it's hard to tell without having been there.

This article ^ covers many of the big goalkicking feats and makes mention of a recent one in the Picola and District League.
It's fine. Just plotting Geelong's scoreworms this year. Pretty much finished.Do you need a big list of them or something?
Moorcroft will of course always be famous for his big mark, but his AFL career went downhill fast after that, apparently he picked up an injury taking that mark (or maybe when he landed!) and was never the same player again.interesting.
the bloke getting chaired off doesn't exactly look like someone you'd have too much trouble handling, but 3 100's in a row is a fair effort. Then again the article makes mention of Gary Moorcroft kicking 140+ in a local league and if you found yourself lined up against him before the first bounce without knowing who he was, you probably wouldn't think this short little red head is gonna give you much grief.
As an aside was very surprised to look up Moorcroft and find he only played 98 games AFL games. Definitely thought he was a 200+ player. Seemed to be around for a long time anyway.

It was interesting to spot in that article the name Jason Mifsud on the list of players who'd kicked 200+ goals in lower leagues. Your local league certainly has a lot of high scorers this year, with 4 of the country's top 14, and (I think) 7 of the top 100!
Ah, fair enough, I misread that bit.thanks worbod
i'm not in the piccola league. play in sydney. was looking at our scores and noticed the country's top goal kickers in the sidebar and saw some guy on 92. thought that was incredible.
i wonder how that Keiran Agius - Le Bois goes... Playing SANFL Under 16's (no idea how the pick those teams and how legitimate they are) and kicked 57 goals so far this season.
I noticed that Mifsud name in the article and thought it was familiar. only when you mentioned did i bother to look it up. It's funny when you see the guys mentioned in the AFL press and you just assume most of them are just old farts who can't do anything.
