In round 5 of the SANFL Women's Competition, North Adelaide defeated Sturt 14.9 (93) to 0.2 (2). When was the last time that a team failed to kick a goal in a match? The VFL/AFL record is Richmond scoring 0.8 (8) against St Kilda back in 1961, so I would be interested in knowing what the WAFL, SANFL and VFL records are. What is the most recent occurrence in suburban or country football?

Any chance we can keep the context of inquiry reserved for the VFL/AFL comp alone?

If you want to start a women's comp stat thread, then by all means.....Do so.

It would happen in country football twenty times a week.

Can anyone find % of disposals in the forward half of the ground for midfielders in 2017? Or average disposals in the fwd half per game for midfielders?

    Would be much appreciated!

The SANFL date might be in 1913 when West Torrens scored 0.8 vs South Adelaide 6.9
    https://australianfootball.com/game/view/16406

The WAFL date is much more recent, being 2003 when East Perth scored 0.9 vs West Perth 7.13

I suspect that a team being kept goal-less only occurs now and then at "senior" level in non-major leagues,
but perhaps rather more often at junior, school and mini-league level.

In a game played between Adelaide and Brisbane at Football Park in Round 6 1992 there were three players with the surname Hart - Daryl and Ben Hart for the Crows, and Shaun Hart for the Bears.

Does anyone know the record for the most number of players with the same surname playing in the same match?

Reminds me of the old Trevor Marmalade joke about Collingwood having had four Twomey brothers in the same side: Mick Twomey, Bill Twomey, Pat Twomey and Kickit Twomey.

I never knew the 4 brothers played in the same team, given Neale's long-term injury problems and that Tony spent the early part of his career at the Swans.

Tayla Harris has played for a Grand Final team (Brisbane) and a wooden spoon team (Carlton) in consecutive seasons. Has anyone in VFL/AFL history achieved this with two different teams?

Has there ever been a VFL/AFL team that has won the premierships and then gone into the following season with an unchanged lineup?

    What?

No premiership team has ever played together again, so how could a premiership team go in unchanged?

Speaking of which, what's the closest a premiership team has come to playing with each other again? Is there an example of 21 of 22 premiership players playing together after their premiership?

Does anyone know the last time before last night that a night game was played at Etihad with the roof open? Must have been the first in well over a decade.

I know the 2010 NAB Cup GF was played with an open roof.

Every single goal in the GC v NM game was kicked to the 'Maccas end', when was the last time no goals were kicked to one end but at least one goal was scored in every quarter?

How many goals were kicked by the leading goal kicker on the ground in each venue's first AFL match?

What's the largest home and away crowd for a game without a Victorian team played outside Victoria? Is it the West Coast - Sydney game on Sunday?
