lol i sort of was in a roundabout way. cheers [emoji106]

I guess fitzroy - WCE = Dale Kickett
Bris bears - wce = paul peos

On SM-G925I using BigFooty.com mobile app
I didn't mention Fitzroy - WCE players because Ron named a few of them in his post up the page a bit. Mark Zanotti played for WC, Brisbane (when they were the Bears) and Fitzroy.

Doesn't Murray Rance qualify as Footscray to WCE

Edit
Also Ilia Grgic
Yes, absolutely they qualify! I wasn't attempting to name all of the players who had played for both clubs, as the poster I quoted was merely looking for names where at least one person had done that, and I just filled in a couple of the blanks that he had!

The original list around West Coast was actually blank for Footscray/Western Bulldogs and you brought in Koby Stevens.
I just added 2 the other way.

I suspect the Bulldogs have been very good at providing players for other clubs and particularly expansion clubs.

Just before half time today, De Goey had scored 4.3 while the rest of Collingwood and North Melbourne had combined for 4.5.

How many times has a player been able to outscore both teams in a half, or even in a full game?

Tonight the Cats had an 82-point turnaround from seven minutes into the second quarter.

what’s the biggest turnaround from after quarter time in recent(ish) years? Thanks

As a starting point, although this is not so recent, in round 1, 1990 Geelong were ahead of Hawthorn by 46 to 35 during the second quarter and went on to lose by 77 to 192, thus a 126-point turnaround.

As an aside, Geelong kicked the first 3 goals of the second half in that game, to lead Hawthorn by 1 point early in the 3rd qtr. Hawthorn kicked 19 of the remaining 20 goals. Can't be too many games where a side trailed in the 2nd half but won by 100+.

Sorry, this is a bit belated! This shows the top 20 all-time turnarounds from (a team that trailed at) quarter time:

Top 20 turnarounds from (a team that trailed at) half time:

Only scores from quarter breaks are shown, not "in play" scores.

Richmond trailed St.K i think in Sydney in 1980 before careering away to a huge win, scoring i think 34.18.222 to 11.4.70.

At 1/4 time, St.Kilda led 7.1.43 to the Tiger's 5.3.33.

As a Cat fan i was at Waverley when Geelong nosed ahead of the Hawks in the 3rd quarter with their 11th goal, before the Hawks absolutely SMASHED Geelong 192-77 by game's end. A similar fate befell Geelong against the Hawks in 1986 as well, 3 pts down at half time, not sure if they hit the lead in the 3rd or not, but final score 225-90.

Any wonder i don't like the Hawks much!

That Richmond win over St Kilda saw the biggest ever win for a team that trailed at 1/4 time. The Hawthorn win in 1990 is the sixth best win of that type. Both are shown on the list that's just up the page a little bit.

This suggests the score at about the six-minute mark of the third quarter would have been Geelong 10.6 to Hawthorn 9.11, with the Cats in front by a point. Then the Hawks went berserk!

It doesn't look as if Geelong took the lead early in the third quarter, with Hawthorn building on their 3 point 1/2 time lead.

Per my post above, Geelong did kick the first three goals of the 2nd half to lead by a point. I have the full telecast of the game.
I don't blame you for keeping a copy of that game!

My post talked about the two Hawthorn v Geelong games mentioned by Catsace . The last part of the post (bit you quoted) referred to the 1986 clash, where the Hawks (leading by 3 points at 1/2 time) kicked goals early in the 3rd quarter and extended their lead, with the Cats not getting in front in the second half. The part above that in my post covers the 1990 game, and mentions that the Cats were in front by a point about 6 minutes into the 3rd quarter (10.6 to 9.11), meaning the scoring in the early part of that quarter had been Geelong 3.0 to Hawthorn 0.0.

Where does the Bulldogs round 10 percentage of 161.91 rank among the highest round ten percentages of all time?

WCE in 1991 had a percentage of 195 at the round ten mark. I'm guessing this would be close to the benchmark.

This one should be Fitzroy:

Last week Collingwood had no goals at half time. This week they had no behinds at half time. Has any team achieved this before? (Or conversely had no behinds at half time one week, followed by no goals at half time the next week?)

Yep, St Kilda in 1899: no behinds Rnd 9, no goals Rnd 10
