Could someone who knows the finalsiren.com webmaster* let him know that he needs to fix the game details?

Completed matches should have a Details link at the end of the line rather than a Record link.

Although I have corresponded in the past, I don't know who "Final Siren" is.

The site is a semi-automated database. I think you will find that "record" is there because the most recent data has not been entered into the database from current match results. Once the site used to be first to post, but is now much less current. (I used to use it to get the attendance figures, now the AFL site has them the soonest.)

How somebody can keep posting routine stats that are available elsewhere for no reward and probably little or no feedback and appreciation, I don't know. (I keep going on my website mainly because it entertains me with stuff I can't find elsewhere.)

Some appreciation from general users might encourage "Final Siren" to keep going and get back to previous standards.

LOL, FinalSiren already has today's result up and the ladder has been updated!

And the other issues have been fixed too

Apparently the AFL have pulled down this link. It had 1897 - 2010 match scores, every ladder, club season lists. All stats from 1897 - 2010. Don't know why they decided to remove it.

I've tweeted them a couple of games about Hawkins being listed as playing against West Coast last year (he didn't), but no change.

Hmmm... you are right. My bookmark started working again, but further investigation finds the navigation system has been neutered. So they're still fiddling with it perhaps.

Have just noticed that the last few days has seen an update to the VFL/AFL Record copies online via State Library of Victoria:

Looks to me that there are now copies for 1918, 1920 and 1937.

Just curious, is there any sort of database for acting captains, or a complete captaincy database? Things like Jordan Lewis serving as captain for much of the season thus far. Basically, who was captain on any given day.
