Thinking about Civilisation V.

Game only -75% $17.49
Game + all DLC -67% $26.39

Thoughts?

Just do it. It's a very fun game, especially if you're a fan of the series or even an RTS guy. The DLC makes it so much better too, so for that price you can't go wrong.

Caved in and finally bought Fallout: New Vegas; i was put off when it came out after hearing the issues it had (on console and PC) but for $7 I just couldn't resist. Not regretting it so far, so much awesome in there.

And there goes my pledge to never buy a Bethesda game again though...

That reminds me, I need to start playing that again. Stuck on a quest bug, luckily with the PC version I can enter console commands to skip quests.

It's an Obsidian game, only published by Bethesda

Got Rogue Legacy & Space Engineers Early Access so far but haven't played either. Haven't gotten too much this sale because I still have to play most of the stuff I've bought in the last two years.
I guess i haven't broken my pledge, technically, then.

Although Obsidian is just as bad in terms of bugs anyway.
They're worse actually, although it's not helped by the fact that Bethesda rushed them to release the game a year early. They make up for extra bugs by having far better writers than Bethesda.

Also, get some ****ing mods. The game improves so drastically if you stack up on mods. Read this ASAP:

Make sure to get NMC's Tecture Pack & all the bug-fixes you can find and you already have a far better experience.

Yeah, I know about the mods, but I'm restricted by RAM, so I know I'm gonna have issues if I download mods. Been meaning to upgrade my PC to 64Bit 8gbRAM+ but it would be a hassle at the moment, not to mention re-installing everything.

Hope you didn't get it at that price; that was a massive whack of the Australia tax.

Could have got the price match from Amazon for less than half that.

I decided to let it go at that price, plenty of other games to play whilst I bide my time....

Dynasty Warriors 8, Metal Gear Rising and Banished. Happy with that sale personally.

I haven't bought a thing. Bundles have made it impossible to pay more than a couple of dollars for anything, especially with a 200-game backlog.

Thanks to cards and the TF2 update, I've made a $10 profit during the sale!

I bought the Bioshock bundle and FC3 the other day. Will I play them? Probably not. Just another few games to add to my huge, mostly unplayed library...

Maybe just because I already have so many games, but this sale felt a little underwhelming.

I agree with this, too many early access games on sale for too high a price. I spent more money on gifts than games I bought for myself. I ended up with Metal Slug 3 and Payday 2 for the whole sale.

I got myself a nice little badge and made a $2 profit which I used to buy someone a game. I did some smart trading and selling to get a better return on the cards at the start.

Have bought 3 games at the sale.

Miasmata ($5.09)
Circuits ($1.49)
Super Amazing Wagon Adventure ($1.01)

Went close to buying a few more, but didn't really need more games that I won't play anyway.

I bought

Ghostbusters: The Videogame
8bitboy
Beat Hazard with iTunes and AAC support DLC

I've got other games to play so didn't want to add too much to the backlog.
