Let’s face it, the season is compromised to the point where it is almost unsustainable. That point may still arrive. The players want the season to go ahead, why do you think it's best for them to cancel it?

You mean like everyone else except for teachers, who still suck off the public teat, even though they do nothing but churn out legions of uneducated, brainwashed groupthink sheep.
Look at the impact the SA government had today on the fixture. How long can the AFL sustain these interruptions?Unsustainable is an interesting choice of words.
Why is it unsustaintable?
Not playing games is actually unsustainable for the AFL.

They get another job like everyone else.
The whole hub system is grossly unfair to the players and their families. Season should have been cancelled.
True. I just think people are being a bit hard on Steele, this whole situation is very difficult.Players can always not play and go on Job Keeper. It's their choice.
Also true. I feel for people who have lost their jobs. You just don't walk into another job these days, considering over 7% of Australians are now unemployed.
That’s nice of the police.Report: Victoria Police drove Sidebottom home after alleged COVID breach

I’d be very disappointed in a club sanction. He needs support from the club, not punishment, he’ll get that from the AFL.Doesn't read well, does it? Roaming a street in Williamstown 7.30am Sunday morning.
Surely a club sanction on top of the AFL suspension is coming. Disappointing from one of the club's most senior players.
Thinking player restrictions have gotten to Sidey.

He should be stripped of the vice captaincyI'm sure there will be club support, but you also can't ignore the actions. Could you imagine how Bucks would feel. He just lost his best rebounding defender for the season, then 24 hours later, one of his best players and most senior players, is found wondering the streets Sunday morning, after an all nighter on the p1ss.
I'm tipping the club is not going to take this lightly.
Yeah I think that has to happen unfortunately. He should be stripped of the vice captaincy
Sidey's fine in a one on one. And teams don't really play 6 forwards, they're just forced to start that way and then one becomes an extra mid or defender. I'd be happy for him to be a spare in defence. I reckon he'd cut teams up, but it'd be short lived because he'd be so dangereous that he'd get a tagger anyway. Sidey's problem is that he's too good to not be tagged, but not good enough to shake a tag.
Did you read past the first line? Second sentence suggests you didn't.At best, he's about average in 1v1 competitions. If only minding an opponent was as simple as a series of 1v1 competitions.

I would be very disappointed if that were to happen. I doubt it will.Yeah I think that has to happen unfortunately.
I think he'll get 4How long we thinking the penalty will be? I'm thinking 4 to 5 weeks, and so it should be. Unbelievably stupid act.
