Back in December, like the rest of us, he should have realised that AFL pleyers wouldn't be able to live in Melbourne during the season, thus he probably should have undergone some sort of castration.

Even if we were in Melb theres a strong chance he would've had to miss a finals game to be with his wife during labour and the birth.

Plenty of players miss games during the season because of births before corona virus hit... or are we going to forget that?

Ovulation is not always in sync with the footy season...

The NZ prime minister gave birth during her term in office. If you frame it in the context of an employment agreement it is unreasonable to expect that employees will plan families around work commitments. I'm sure deep down you accept this.

Family > Work.

I think delaying pregnancy for 4 years is different to delaying for 4 weeks. I don't think its a big sacrifice to ask a guy on 600-700k to not plan for a birth during a 4 week block in a year, if you think that's completely unreasonable we can agree to disagree.
