It would have been fine if we were in Melbourne. Nobody was able to predict COVID.

Cool.. if they've been trying for a long time then they can take a break for 1 month so the baby isn't born during finals then keep trying.

Really not that hard, is it?

It's actually very common for women in positions of women to plan their pregnancies around their careers, but apparently not having a baby in one month is too hard for a footballer... give me a break.

Back in December, like the rest of us, he should have realised that AFL pleyers wouldn't be able to live in Melbourne during the season, thus he probably should have undergone some sort of castration.

Even if we were in Melb theres a strong chance he would've had to miss a finals game to be with his wife during labour and the birth.

Plenty of players miss games during the season because of births before corona virus hit... or are we going to forget that?

Ovulation is not always in sync with the footy season...

The NZ prime minister gave birth during her term in office. If you frame it in the context of an employment agreement it is unreasonable to expect that employees will plan families around work commitments. I'm sure deep down you accept this.

Family > Work.

Is it a boy? I'll only forgive his outrageous family plan if he delivers us a father son star.

I'm wondering if we should move the family planning / ovulation section from here to the COVID thread.

I think delaying pregnancy for 4 years is different to delaying for 4 weeks. I don't think its a big sacrifice to ask a guy on 600-700k to not plan for a birth during a 4 week block in a year, if you think that's completely unreasonable we can agree to disagree.

You're right.. maybe she only ovulates in January...

When you're called to go, you've got to go.

Reading some of this is aa good laugh and given the severe lack understanding it clearly shows how little sexual relations some people on here have...
I've been married for 14 years...

this is a good point. maybe a future condition of employment.... it might interest the eeo commissioner

And you still don't understand that ovulation happens every month :moustache:
I understand that when the women says go, you go.
