i prefer my horses in mini skirts...

Well you just aren't up with the times. Get with it my man.

P.S. I have a nice bubble gum pink one down in the love dungeon. I'll be there in half an hour. No pressure.

I believe that Sidey still has it but he needs to be rested/made the supersub every 5 weeks or so just to keep him fresh. Hes not young and he covers so much ground playing the role he does.
Most of his best games were early in the season and today after the bye.

He’s only 31 you realize?

“It’s a cesspit at Collingwood” exhorted Mark Robinson. “The orgiastic behaviour has to stop. Players running OnlyFans pages, exploiting poor supporters and journalists needs to be regulated and any income be included within the salary cap. The hard one, not the soft one. Degoey’s cheap ploy to promote his accounts through his exploits in Bali is obvious abuse of the system.
We shouldn’t condone drunken behaviour anywhere. Like me.
Sidebottom has taken this to a new low on Sunday, using pants-off Sunday to promote his own lewd behaviour through exposing a buttock on field. But what else do you expect from a Collingwood player named Sidebottom?”

Gotta say, Robbo’s got a point about the name.

You've got to see it from Sidebottom's side of things. Here he is in the final days of his career, stumbling from game to game trying to get his hands on the ball. Each game succombing more to inept, ineffectual play. In the back of his mind, he is desperate to recapture those days when he was a fan favourite at big footy.....when the fans revered him. Over 30 and coming to the end of a contract, with a young family and burdened with an excessive lifestyle and a desperate need to secure an income for the future...

so he looks around and assesses his skills and abilities and realises that he only has his name.....sidebottom...

so he begins his new career as an uninhibited promoter of ass displays, at the same time that his footy career sputters to an ignominious end. Yes, he is pitiful. Yes, he no longer measures up to the warrior status that the sages at bigfooty once revered in him. He has crumbled before our very eyes in the last 18 months, a hollow mockery of a once great player. Week after week he lets us down, as his focus drifts away from the club that has made him what he is.

But can we forgive him, like we have forgiven players in the past. Dayne Beams who cheated us mercilously and mocked us as he did it. We've still managed to show the love for this man in the typical bigfooty fashion. Daisy Thomas who turned his back on us after we told him that we loved him. Didnt we take him back to our bosoms in the end, welcoming him back as an overweight dishelleved hack into the fold.

Surely, we can do the same for Sidey......

The funny thing is that if you track Sidey's bigfooty career. He was golden when young - as all highish picks are. Then by 2012, he was a disappointing dinky kicker who wasn't half the player of Beams. This remained until 2018, even after Beams left. In 2018, he briefly became golden again, but was disappointing in 2019 and has been a hack ever since. We're great judges!

I think the key part is not only have we been amazing accurate with our assessments, we have never strayed from the truth.... how many times over the last 18 months have you heard some lame channel 7 commentator wax lyrical about sidebottom? It's like they've been watching his junior footy days as some sort of primer to get up to speed with his game.....instead of coming here and finding out the facts!

Even now people are pointing at the coaches votes as if that means something....when we know mcveigh will be looking for a job next year and the Fly has pulled his hair out thinking of ways to motivate sidebottom to just try to get one hard ball get a game.....

To tell you the truth, sometimes I question my sanity when I see all these outside assessments of sidebottom....until i come home here and realise that all those rave reviews are all fabricated....

I wanted Didak to be as good as Daicos and Sidebottom to be as good as Didak

Pretty sure I would have lamented in 1931 that we did not five-peat

All the players were better in the past. That's just the way it is. They tell me that Sidey will be a better player 20 years from now...........but i doubt it

I can see him playing for another 2 years, same as Pendles. I'm expecting a flag next year and the year after, then they can retire

So no flag this year? I suppose it's always a balance but I think we all agree that Sidey needs someone to ride him hard to get him to perform

I'd like to say yes but unless we can get Dean playing in defence and Moore forward, we probably can't win this year

In 2367 he’ll be the EFL’s (Earth Football League) all-time games record holder on 7,810 games, the most decorated player in history, but he’ll be playing like ****in shit and his dinky kicks will be so annoying…

he'll be playing for the 7 network by then and they can wax lyrical about his skills on 112 channels across the universe

We have a multi-functional forwardline being fed by quick movement. We dont need a traditional key forward. Henry, Mihocek, De Goey, Elliott, Hoskin-Elliott, Ginivan and Cox/Cameron all pose challenges. Moore would be the icing on the cake but him and Howe are finally starting to do what they did under Bucks. Dean maybe required for balance against teams with two tall threats.
