Is it just me or does Sidebottom look a lot bigger through the shoulders this season?

Noticed it, came here to say it. He's beefed up and it is showing in his game. This season he is getting a lot more hard ball and is also taking players on more rather than dinky chip kicks which he was quite known for last season.

He loves anyone who can kick on both feet. Been going on about it for weeks now.

And so he should... it’s laughable that not every AFL player can kick with both feet..

Don’t have any favourites players these days, but he does come close to being one. Stepped up last year when took up the role as temporary captain, and this year has been our best player so far. A grade.

Nah I see it too, he looks so much stronger and able to stand up in tackles so much better.

I completely apologise for my comment on the Sidebottom trade. He’s been our best player by the length of the Flemington. I’ll take the loss. It was poor call. As a self inflicted punishment,I will have a drink every time Sidebottom touches the ball on Anzac Day. I will also drop a Gorilla for Sidebottom to get the Anzac Day medal.

I'd argue that Sidebottom has finished the first straight, the rest of the players are just beginning the straight, except for Grundy who has also finished the straight and is halfway around the next bend.

Beast and Sidebottom are not words you see very often in the same sentence... he’s not a beast... simply a very smart and skilful footballer who gets to where the ball is..

Yes it’s hardly surprising that a player that has never averaged more than 3.5 clearances a game in a season is 6th in the AFL with 7.5 per game

The most overrated player in modern Collingwood history.

His defensive efforts are child-like, his kicking is crap, has no idea how to weight his kicks.. half the time they land a metre short... he doesn't get ANY hard ball... just a weak outside mid with no hurt factor and no defensive efforts.

Pack him up at the end of the year and pray someone is stupid enough to give us a late 1st round pick for him.
