My guess is that the club expects to be flying to Perth, but they never would have asked Steele to go there, then QLD.
They're getting him to QLD with a view to him training and playing week 2 should we make it.

Plenty of players' and coaches' wives and girlfriends around too, several of whom are probably her friends, will be a real support to Alisha and Steele in the hub.

He’s going to want to get on a plane very quickly. As it is, if we were scheduled on a Friday night (which we won’t be) he would miss the game due to his mandatory quarantine. Every chance we get a Saturday arvo game if it’s 6v7 with the top four clubs occupying Friday/Saturday night and the team who flies west playing on Sunday

He earns his crust from Footy. She benefits.
He wants to play. He wants to help his fellow employees. He is not happy not playing.
She understands that the life they live is because of his love of the job.
She easily agrees that his place is on the field, with his mates, working towards Magpie glory.
In no way would be “in the bad books” in any way shape or form.
Your original post on this subject said he would be in the bad books. How did you come to this? Inside knowledge?
