I believe that Sidey still has it but he needs to be rested/made the supersub every 5 weeks or so just to keep him fresh. Hes not young and he covers so much ground playing the role he does.
Most of his best games were early in the season and today after the bye.
Well you just aren't up with the times. Get with it my man.
P.S. I have a nice bubble gum pink one down in the love dungeon. I'll be there in half an hour. No pressure.

The funny thing is that if you track Sidey's bigfooty career. He was golden when young - as all highish picks are. Then by 2012, he was a disappointing dinky kicker who wasn't half the player of Beams. This remained until 2018, even after Beams left. In 2018, he briefly became golden again, but was disappointing in 2019 and has been a hack ever since. We're great judges! You've got to see it from Sidebottom's side of things. Here he is in the final days of his career, stumbling from game to game trying to get his hands on the ball. Each game succombing more to inept, ineffectual play. In the back of his mind, he is desperate to recapture those days when he was a fan favourite at big footy.....when the fans revered him. Over 30 and coming to the end of a contract, with a young family and burdened with an excessive lifestyle and a desperate need to secure an income for the future...

I wanted Didak to be as good as Daicos and Sidebottom to be as good as Didak
Pretty sure I would have lamented in 1931 that we did not five-peat
I can see him playing for another 2 years, same as Pendles. I'm expecting a flag next year and the year after, then they can retire
I'd like to say yes but unless we can get Dean playing in defence and Moore forward, we probably can't win this yearSo no flag this year? I suppose it's always a balance but I think we all agree that Sidey needs someone to ride him hard to get him to perform

In 2367 he’ll be the EFL’s (Earth Football League) all-time games record holder on 7,810 games, the most decorated player in history, but he’ll be playing like *in s**t and his dinky kicks will be so annoying…
Carlton’s got it in the (brown paper) bag….So no flag this year?
so whats new?I know this is a bumped thread but is anyone else embarrassed by the thread title?
Visitors to our board must think we are a bunch of dicks.
Can’t argue with that.so whats new?
He'll be at Geelong thenAll the players were better in the past. That's just the way it is. They tell me that Sidey will be a better player 20 years from now...........but i doubt it
We have a multi-functional forwardline being fed by quick movement. We dont need a traditional key forward. Henry, Mihocek, De Goey, Elliott, Hoskin-Elliott, Ginivan and Cox/Cameron all pose challenges. Moore would be the icing on the cake but him and Howe are finally starting to do what they did under Bucks. Dean maybe required for balance against teams with two tall threats.I'd like to say yes but unless we can get Dean playing in defence and Moore forward, we probably can't win this year
