Sidey is an interesting one. Aside from the occasional freak goal, he doesn't really do flashy things or catch the eye. He's not particularly big, or fast, or high-leaping. But he's very very solid, does everything well.
Looks like his first month this year has been a really mature, steady "slow burn" step up on previous seasons. I think he's on his way to becoming an extremely good AFL player, if perhaps not a mega-star.
Am I wrong to be thinking something along the lines of Scott Burns? Never the best player, but consistently in the top half dozen and just doesn't play bad games?
