He's actually a decent player - probably in the same catagory as Mike Pyke.

The reason nobody wants him is because of the horrible team he plays for. If he was coming from a Collingwood or a Geelong, there would be legitimate interest. Hopefully he'll find a trade out of that hell-hole.

Pretty sure you are confusing Stefan Martin with someone else. Near AA? Mentioning Nic Nat as a way to gauge his value? I dunno who you are thinking of, but nobody fitting that description is currently listed at Melbourne. Are you thinking of Denis Cordner maybe? He hasn't been on Melbourne's list for a while now.
Most likely thinking of Mark Jamar - made AA in 2010, brilliant ruck/rover combo with Moloney that year.

As far as I know Stefan Martin has never been aaaaaaaanywhere near AA. Played most games last year but otherwise only had one other year (?) where he strung games together.

Methinks that's the mistake made in OP. Unless it was a massive troll trying to poke fun at Melb supporters.

Stefan Martin is a spud, feel sorry for the supporters of whatever club picks him up.
He'd be your best defender if he was at Richmond, perfect back-up to Maric and very handy target up forward next to Riewoldt, he's far from a spud.

Also can somebody please show me some sort of proof Melbourne has even put him up for trade? Because I haven't seen anything at all, no quotes or anything just shit from the shitstains of society in the media.

Not many players go from Melbourne to other lists. There is a reason AFL recruiters tend to avoid them.
Your team's colours have had a negative affect on both of your brains.

I think the opposite. I think clubs think that our player development is poor (which I agree with) and they might have better luck with a better system. In recent years we've had P.Jonnson, S.Buckley, B.Miller, A.Maric picked up as delisted players, Cheney traded for peanuts, Bruce, C.Johnson as out of contract players, and J.McDonald as a retiree/delistee.

Let's apply your logic:

How many Hawthorn players have left lately to better their careers?

How many players from any club have left and bettered their career elsewhere? Few, I'd imagine.

Clubs have down times. Doesn't mean the players don't have value.
