Carr goes quiet and goes missing when the heat is really on his team. Stinger will be found at any stage of the game in the thick of the action in the centre square, diving in, tackling, wrenching the ball out and doing the grunt work.
Carr is a lot more inconsistant now he's at Fremantle too
Stenglein needs a rat to gnaw that mole of his face.
Josh Carr is a sensational footballer, Stenglein is overated by own supporters (but strangely not many others) who wasn't or isn't one of the top line midfielder either at Adelaide or West Coast.

When the heat is on its usually because the team has gone missing (with exceptions to 2 or 3) not just one player. But its great how you can notice just the one.
And thats to be expected from such a defensive player. THAT IS WHAT THEY DO.
Yes your right (for once), he is a little inconsistent...
Josh by a mile. If Port were offerred both for pick #90 in trade week, it'd take all of about .05 seconds to decide on Carr. Stenglein's a dime a dozen tagger. Effective and every side needs one, but he can't irritate the opposition off their game too boot like Carr.
Defensively he is much better then Stenglein?? Your kidding.
Anybody that knows anything about football will tell you that Stenglein does a heap of work off the ball. I reckon he would be the 2 or 3 bloke picked because the work he does off the ball helps Judd, Kerr and Cousins get the ball.
