Player Watch Stephen Coniglio = A bulldozing machine

No more ceiling. This is as good as it gets for Coniglio and it' pretty damn good but hardly in the same ball park as Dangerfield's resume.
When all is said and done (barring injury), Dangerfield will have averaged just as many possessions but have an extra 200+ goals over Coniglio.
Cats fan gonna cats fan. No doubting Dangerfield is an amazing player, I think by the finish they will be a lot closer in legacy than you think.

B.O.G last night

The guys a gem

What?

Shouldn't a BOG have to hit a target?

He had the worst disposal efficiency on the ground last night. Yes 43 players had better DE than him.

He's a good player but his disposals are nowhere good enough for someone that gets so many uncontested possessions.

If Coniglio wants to join Hawthorn

But you haven't answered his question.

Why would he want to go to Hawthorn? They are rubbish and headed for years of mediocrity at best.

Plenty of good clubs will find a way to afford him if he wants to go there.

He might not see it that way, and as many Hawthorn supporters also believe, this might be the inevitable dip before Mitchell returns.

BF Hawk fans are mainly a bunch of entitled posters that think they will just win flags because "Clarkson or Hawthorn" that are so removed from reality its hilarious. Mitchell is coming back from one of the worst injuries a footballer has to come back from (Much worse than an ACL) and if your list is so bad you rely on one player to make the difference, you're in for a world of hurt. The Wingard trade was the final nail in the coffin.

Coniglio and his management will be making an informed decision based on facts and just like Shiel did they see the writing on the wall at Hawthorn and want nothing to do with the place.

Mitchell will be fine. The fact he was walking without any protection a month after the injury says its not as bad as you think it is. Hawthorn have been very vague with the news regarding his injury and it’s hard to know exactly what he did, but the worst case that’s been reported by the media it isn’t as he simply wouldn’t have been walking unaided post surgery like he did if it was worst case.
He would probably be back playing now with no troubles (other than his elite fitness level) if we were making a serious push into September. Feel free to keep hoping he will never be the same though.

Kelly is a worse kick than Coniglio, yet regularly receives plaudits to the contrary.

People are far too harsh on Conigs in this regard.

Years of mediocrity? That's what they said last year and they finished top 4.

You're jealous. You have your Essendon goggles on and are viewing them full of hatred and negativity. They finished strong last year, history suggests they'll be ok and will further bolster their stocks.

Hawks will be fine. And if Coniglio goes there and a few others, will be a force.

You have no idea what you are talking about but continue to pump up Hawthorn and bump your posts/threads, it's what you seem to be here for.

I think Coniglio disposes of it better than Dangerfield in general. Not all the "best" players are good users of the ball.
Danger kicks these mongrel floaters quite often when running at full tilt, it’s part and parcel of running full tilt. People these days say ‘oh look, 45% disposal officiency’ as if it means something, it doesn’t allow for the factor that an inside mid is under the pump and just slamming a kick foward out of a pack, or they’re getting tackled whilst disposing etc.
all good and well if you’re a back pocket getting cheap unmanned possessions but meaningless if your a mid copping a tag and operating in a phone box constantly.

In dank contrast to your emotionally charged headrooted irrational hatred of Hawthorn, Coniglio will make his decision with considered logic and rational thought, which is different to the way you approach your illness. I love the way you just wear it; shout it out to the world. I suggest you have some herbal tea-before (pronounced as one word) you next post, so that you are more calm and rational. I show my kids everytime you post, so they will grow up knowing just how bad some therapists are at their job.
