lolThere are still Richmond fans that vehemently deny that Coniglio has had a better year than Edwards.

He may well. I'd give our co-captains a hope, and Whitfield a strong chance as well for the Sheedy medal.Coniglio will probably win the Giants best and fairest award. He will also poll quite well at this years Brownlow medal.

To be fair there are probably bombers fans who’d deny he’s had a better year than Devon SmithThere are still Richmond fans that vehemently deny that Coniglio has had a better year than Edwards.
Model of consistency, doesn’t really have any weaknesses and always full of effort.
I didn't realise how good he was as a junior; played in a senior WAFL premiership at age 16 with Swan Districts and had 17 touches and 4 goals in the Grand Final.
Edwards made the AA team over him.
Now let that sink in

There was huge hype about him in his draft year. Seems to have been hidden/overlooked a bit among GWS' talent pool, but his quality is rising to the fore now.
As a Swans fan that was there on the day, it was an unbeluieveable performance for such a yound kid playing senior footy. Also worth noting that it was a 1 point victory to Swans in the grand final (my avatar is the scoreboard...I'm living in the past). In the same game Andy Krakouer had 40 touches and 4 goals.I didn't realise how good he was as a junior; played in a senior WAFL premiership at age 16 with Swan Districts and had 17 touches and 4 goals in the Grand Final.

Sitting back here crossing my fingers that he's getting a creeping homesickness as GWS continue to underperform in finals. Going 1 step backwards this year and bowing out in a semi probably doesn't help. I hope we throw the kitchen sink at him, surely GWS would rather let him go this year and get decent compensation compared to a late teens - early 20's pick next year![]()
