Delisted by Port today.

Traded for Barnaby French for pick 16 2002 draft.

Long term investment with Port, tonne of potential
injured (groin, AC joint) most of the time

Originally from East Doncaster,
it's a bit lonely when injured playing interstate,
getting him back to Vic would freshen him up.

Would he be worth a late draft pick,
as we can draft delisted players in the National Draft if he nominates.

I'm not 100% certain, but he looks more like he's about 80kg rather than 90kg.

When we get to our last couple of picks and guys like Mills, West, Wall and Ainger are gone I would definitely consider him as he is tall, agile, skillful and in need of greater opportunity.

I'd give him a chance as a rookie listed player, but given his injury problems may not be worth the gamble with a senior list spot. Be happy if we picked up in the rookie draft though...

In regards to his injury problems I think he is past all that. Without looking it up I think he played every game this year and stepped up to be a good key position defender at SANFL level. I would have liked to see him be given one more year at port as I still think he could make the grade. Carlton should be shot if the rookie draft comes around and he is still available and they dont put him on there rookie list.

I've seen a little bit of Gilham playing for North Adelaide in the SANFL and I think there's definitely some potential there. He moves very well, has good skills and reads the play well. Probably needs to add a little bulk to his frame to be an AFL defender. I'm surprised he didn't get more chances with the Power.

Being a North supporter, I've seen plenty of him in the sanfl. Has good skills and is a good mark, very reliable defender, and has a good work ethic/attitude. Having said that, he's probably not bulky enough to be key defender, but would be very good on 2nd or 3rd tall.

Don't know why Port didn't play him more, considering their ageing backline.

Sorry to see him leave the Roosters. :(
