Yet he wins 2 in 2 minutes against Masten......
i think the same. some people have likened him to michael long, but i think he is more like peter matera. amazing talent. still has the fumbles, but once those go...... gees he'll be amazing

I didn't watch the game, but I wonder what Tim Gossage thinks, because everytime I hear him call a Freo game on SEN, he is always saying that Freo blundered by picking Hill ahead of Daniel Rich (he has said this several times)

he was amazing to watch today 14 contested possesions 2 goals and he set it up for the dockers as well, he sure has some exposive running abilitys.
Creative genius - loving watching him play (even if it is for the opposite team).
Had all the attributes (complete athletic package, clean hands, good vision/DM, accurate and penetrating left foot, excellent work ethic etc. etc.) but was generally reserved in his playing style (more defensively minded) whilst showing some glimpses for most of last year. No more reservations - has really kicked on big time this year and started backing himself much more as an attacking influence - kudos to Freo recruiting and development.

The team seems to feed off him already. Our style of play is more direct when he's winning the ball. Cheers for the positive comments from the eagles people.

He will be an outstanding player. Chris Bond and Mark Harvey are well and truly vindicated. It's a shame Palmer was n't there aswell but with 14 contested possesions Rhys would have had a fight on his hands getting the ball.
The sun has shone down Freo way since a short period in 06 but I gotta say the futures so bright, I gotta wear shades. Good onya young fella.

I still feel Rich will win it, whether or not Hill does in fact have a better year, the hype around Rich has been enormous and he has played pretty well, it would be nice to have back to back rising stars though.
