jealous?
Yes, would love him at Westcoast.
But this thread if full of unhealthy hype.

Simpson had a 2 meter headstart and Hill still nearly caught him within about 5m.

Love posts like that.Naitanui >>>>>> Hill.
Bookmark it when he makes his debut.

I'd consider the hype around Rich and Naitanui far more "unhealthy", all pre-season Fremantle were bagged for taking Hill over Rich, and now that he's showing some excellent signs to validate our recruiters selection, it isn't somehow justifed?
There are some players who you just love watching, you'll go out of your way to watch a team because of a particular player. To his credit, Steve Hill is one of those players after just a handful of games. Gonna enjoy watching him over the next 10+ years, hopefully they won't stop him from playing in his natural way too much.

Some traits from his junior career that have translated into AFL:
Combination of speed, endurance and evasiveness. --> Captain obvious.
Something people may not know, his disposal effiency was 80% in the colts. Which is actually elite.
At the carnival he had the best disposal efficiency of all players who had more than 15 possessions.
Disposal efficiency this year at AFL = 78%.
His 1%ers with taps into his own path, into a team mate's path... are just phenomenal. Some traits from his junior career that have translated into AFL:

If Connolly was still in charge that would be an issue...
Or, if he did have him on the list, he wouldn't be playing him (because there'd be a 25 year old player from another club who gets picked by default). If Connolly was still in charge this thread wouldn't exist because he would have traded our no.3 pick for a 25yo from another club.
Simpson had a 2 meter headstart and retained most of it.
he is the complete package. Inside-outside, it doesn't matter. He is adept at both. Smooth as silk yet tough in the clinches
it's like having Nick Dal Santo and Luke Ball in one body
