What an inspired selection by the Dockers recruiting department.

Many thought he went too high in the draft but he is the standout for me so far this year.

Couple of years in the system and he will an absolute star.

He did a bit of in and under work, ran to space and put pressure on the kickers when the game was there to be won. He is a match winner, an absolute gem.

He came up so fast he scared the sh*t out of Gibbs at one stage there, causing him to shank his kick.

All I could think of when watching this kid was... wow!

He looks like he could snap in half in a strong wind but geez he's got some skill, poise, pace and courage. Reads the play sooo well too. That spoil to help Tarrant out with Fevola was brilliant. The one percenters on top of the flashy stuff.

As a mad supporter it's hard to see this sort of stuff objectively, but when you see his poise and maturity, especially those last dying minutes of the last quarter...I thought "Shit this kid is good".

The biggest new talent we have seen since Pav & Haze were drafted. Pretty hard to say that when Rhys won the rising star last year but Hill is the complete package. He can run faster & as hard & while he doesn't get as much ball his brilliant kicking and superb defensive side would see him go higher in a draft than Rhys now. Just so damaging with his possies and now that he has caught the pace of game at the top level his confidence is allowing him to take more risks. Many of the players have commented that his brilliance lifts the team. A true matchwinner.

Kept a close eye on him tonight and every time he got the ball or did something defensively the team lifted. That spoil in the last 5 minutes was superb. He reads the play so well. That time when he was caught behind and out of position, then in the blink of an eye moved to the front and took the mark was awesome.

I would go as far to say that he is almost in our top 5 most important players. Superstar.

he is going to be a superstar. you look at the best teams, their midfield has a good selection of different but brilliant players, ablett, bartel, corey and ling or voss akermanis black and power...... with our midfielders in palmer, hill, hasleby and ibbotson i think we could potentially have a brilliant midfield... add hinkley and suban into thew mix who i think both will be stars and we could be extremely potent.... im just so wrapt that hill is living up to our hopes as the treatment he copped from fans and "experts" earlier was pretty ordinary

I streamed live on the net via ABC in Brisbane. Roger Merrit and Sean Hart where gobsmacked to the point where Merrit laughed when Hill spoiled the ball in the last couple of minutes deep in Carlton F50.
His comment whilst laughing was something like "hahaha, he spoils the best forwards in the comp comp too, he WILL be a champion this BOY".
Wish I hadda seen the boy last night. Pav has a serious challenge on his hands cause theres gonna be plenty of kids with #32 on their backs in the next few years. Might be some adults too!

CameronK and I went to the 18's last eyar vs NSW ACT and the two we both raved about were Hill and De Boer.

Got 3 of them so can't be unhappy
