These stats back up my point. Sceptics, take the time to look these over.

http://finalsiren.com/PlayerCompare...ck+Davis&Compare=Compare&SelectedPlayers=927,

I'll grant you that - the stats are pretty compelling. I retract the call to ditch him. I would like him to work on his tackling a bit more though. Even given the favorable stats, do you think he'll be picked for the West Coast game? He's not got the best record at Subi, and GT was thinking of leaving him just as a home-player. He didn't have a great one against Freo a few weeks ago (mind you, who did?). I'm not saying he should be dropped, I'm just wondering if you think he will.

A good footy player but I think the best is behind him. Personally you should of traded him a few years back and cashed in on him. He isn't the smartest bloke going around infact the guy can't even read. In saying this he might come out and kick 8 goals in your next outing

Comments like this are not constructive at all. You and della should take a look at yourself. "Cant even read" you actually mates with him are you.
Check the stats mate if the saint were winning this forum would not be happening.

The aints simply can not yet deliver the Lyon (Sydney) game plan as they dont have the running / endurance component as yet.

Get the ball in the forward line to see if they are any good, a great example was when Reiwoldt went back 50 metres to a one on two contest last week.

As Sam Newman said get it in long and quick and give him and the G a chance to kick goals.

i tend to agree that Milne is damaged goods, he hasn't come on l;ike i would of expected and never plays well under pressure, should of got rid of him along time ago, he's not a good role model either let's be honest, he's still a bloody kid at heart and plays like one, time to trade him as he offers nothing for us!

A couple of my mates can't read either, one owns a few properties and the other is very bloody smart, doing very well for himself & his family.

You can read and it obviously doesn't make you smart.

Two things here:

1. Are you in a book club with Milne ? How do you know if he can or cant read ? Would be interested to hear you back that one up.

2. Hate to disappoint anyone, but these guys are footballers. They dont get paid to read.

I made the point to further emphasise the fact he isn't too bright. As to the question of how I know let's just say a former St. Kilda player, who is a good mate of mine, told me.

Took one for the team today.

Yep. Should get weeks.

He still got caught too many times today. It's predictable - opposition players know to keep on his tail because he will hold the ball and hold it and hold it. Still, he did very well up the ground on occasions. Certainly did enough to hold his spot, except for that whole lynching of Kerr thingy.

Surely you arent serious ? Suspended for a high tackle ? No swinging arm, no fist, or even open hand.

Love to hear you explain your thoughts on why he'll get 'weeks'

Ripped his head off, clearly deliberate, absolutely no attempt to make a legit tackle. He'd get a month in League. (I loved it, by the way. Saved a certain goal).

In a spot of bother I'd suggest. Went alright today, was a moment near the end when he could've easily dished off to Raph Clarke I think it was (a liability in itself) but managed to hem himself into the boundary and was eventually caught holding the ball about 45m out from goal. Was inconsequential in the end but his first instincts to take on players aren't quite cutting the mustard any more.

Good show today though - begs the question, what is our best forward line setup? Guess it's horses for courses but Gehrig's absence didn't seem to hurt that much, and we definitely seemed to have a lot more running mobility around the ground without him moored at full forward and occasionally chasing up to the wing.

He will get a week or two IMO.

Nothing would surprise me with the inconsistency of the MRP and the tribunal this year, but the incident was nothing more than a free kick.

Like I said, it was a high tackle, marginally above the neck, no swinging arm or fist and Kerr was up and taking his kick immediately.

Best game by Milney since bagging 11. He is playing for his future with the Sainters so lets hope he can keep up the good form. Nothing to answer re the report, that ump should be sacked.
