Even though I have the week off in 2 of my leagues this week (third league is playing this week) I could trade SJ to L.Davis as I have $172,800 in the bank.

Do I save the trade till next week but wont be able to pick up Davis due to price increase or just hang onto the trade?

Its a bit of a catch 22 I reckon.

Yeah tough one JM...

I'm actually thinking about bringing him INto my side with my last trade .

Despite being injuried/out-of-form, he has scored 100+ this year against the teams he'll play against in the last three rounds. And he could win me a couple of Grand Finals.

With Chapman and Ballantyne out, with no cover, Warren > Stevie J is definitely on the cards for me...

p.s. to answer you question, I see Leon as a more consistent bet for 85+, but, the Geelong forward could bounce back and post 100+ scores.....

Traded Nathan Brown out for him before round 14 and have got 36 points out of him in 6 games.

Worst decision ever

Who would people pick out of Johnson or J. Westhoff (PA) ... that's my only dilemma this week ... my forward line is.

Deledio Davey Goodwin
Franklin Pavlich Gray

Johnson or Westhoff

I'm worried that Johnson won't have much space at the SCG and that Bolton will play on him ...

Johnson's last 5 games ...

vs Eagles: 17 disposals, 47% effectiveness, 7 clanger, 38 Points
vs Freo: 23 disposals, 61% eff , 4 clangers, 123 Points
vs Port 16 disposals, 31% eff, 2 clangers, 44 Points
vs Crows 25 disposal, 52% eff, 7 clangers, 32 Points
vs Blues 13 disposals, 31% eff ,8 clangers, 4 Points

The above stats go to show its not about him being shut down or not finding the footy ... its purely about what he is doing with it. Over the past 5 weeks he has averaged 44% disposal effectivness  and ranked up on averaged 5.5 clangers a game

He has always racked up big clanger numbers and that's why I avoided him at the start of the year. His first half of the season indicated he had changed this, so I bought him in (over O'Keefe).

For the above reason's and with there still some doubt over his fitness, I am very likely to trade him out for LeCras or Porp. (and hopefully it does not bite me on the arse like my Franklin trade did)

I left SJ on the bench this week and played Mitch Brown instead. Brown goes down with an angle in the first quarter after scoring 16pts and SJ goes on to score 113. That will teach me!

Ha! Ha!

And here I was thinking that I was the only one crazy enough to do this. :D:thumbsu:

Bit of a shame about Mitch Brown fracturing his ankle as he was decent bench cover with his 50's-70's. Now I have no bench cover at all unless Macaffer somehow gets a game.

is stevie J worth trading in now? he's only like 307k now, scored 113, looks to be back in a bit of form. good option for higgins? which saves me enough cash to rade ellis > newman/enright

StevieJ would definitely be a great target if you are low on cash. Getting a premium for 307k is normally a good idea.

Dont think i would be trading higgins for him tho as Higgins is supposed to come back this week

Christ i wouldn't. I got 100+ out of him the other night sure, but if you saw him in the warmup you wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole.

Looked like an old man.

Half time was just as bad! That's why I'm thinking M Brown > Medhurst for my 7th forward.
