Smith Samau and Daniel Isaac

The Titans wanted Samau and a 2nd prospect, Kevin Proctor (or something like that), who was argubly the better prospect out of the 2.

Probably a good result for both parties in the end. Don't know anything about Isaac.

I'm glad we were able to keep Proctor, seems a truly outstanding prospect. Losing Samau will disappoint many as he is highly rated by many League fans, however I wasn't that impressed. Very inconsistent and flashy, and also rather undersized. I am confident that Turner is easily the better player there.

Isaac I know nothing about.

Just happy to have all this behind us now. It got just so boring.

Isaac is a 2nd row/lock prospect. Good ball skills. He has just finished yr 12.

That's right. I'm sure the Titans would have preferred to have Turner as well. Their problem this year will be depth and Turner would have added some first grade experience to their roster.

The two players they received in compensation could be guns, decent first grade players or duds. But neither is likely to really contribute to the Titans' performance this season.

A good result for all involved. You have to wonder why it wasn't sorted out about 3 months ago but better late than never.

Interestingly on LU right now it is saying that Brian Carney has walked out on the GC. And Mat Rogers sprained his ankle.

I'm betting that if Turner 'makes the same mistake again' the only club that he would be fit to play for is in remote Siberia.
Turner should just shut up now, not talk to the media and let his football so the talking in 2007.
We've all had enough of this saga. Glad its ended and i will say I'm glad he is still at Storm, but Steve...shut your trap, it's over.
