Standing at roughly 180cms tall Steve is a running half back that likes to keep his socks up during a game but is not too fussed if they fall down because he can always pull them up again during a break in play.

His favourite colour is red. He has a pet budgerigar called Tim.

On his 5th Birthday Steve received a Spider-Man outfit. Although he doesn't wear it today he still owns it and it is stored away in his parents garage back in WA in the hope of passing it on to his son when he has children.

In year 6 , Steve fell in with the wrong crowd and was caught wagging school with 3 other students. They were found down the local roller skating rink putting together an interpretive roller skating routine to the Spice Girls hit " I'll tell you what I want what I really really want"

As punishment Steve's parents made him listen to the rest of the Spice Girls album and he never wagged school again.

When in year 3 Steve won a Commonwealth Bank colouring in competition out of the whole school and received his own dollar mite account with 10 bucks in it. That account has 73 dollars in it today and is being saved in case of an emergency .

On family holidays in Fiji in 2005 Steve and his brother joined the locals in dance at the farewell BBQ at the resort on their last night. They had a good time and enjoyed themselves. Their parents have photos of this night hanging up in the lounge room at home.

During Steve's last year of primary school unbeknown to Steve. Steve's parents applied to send him to the Clontarf School For Aboriginal Footballers to help with Steves football . Unfortunately he was denied entry due to the fact he was not Aboriginal and Liam Jones took the last remaining spot at the school instead.

At training one night in under 10's Steve's coach did a drill that made all the boys kick the ball with their opposite foot then run around a witches hat and back to the end of the group where they had to do 10 star jumps and then wait their turn to go again while encouraging their team mates.

In his under 18 year Steve's Dad would not let him ride his skateboard as he knew there was a chance Steve could get drafted and he was scared he might have an accident on it and break his arm , wrist or ankle and ruin his draft chances .

Because Steve was drafted by Richmond he was unable to attend Schoolies in the Gold Coast with friends and nearly lost the money he had already spent on an airline ticket incase he didn't get drafted . Luckily Jet Star gave him a credit to use anytime within the next year. Steve used this ticket during last years by round and headed back to Perth to see his family instead of going water skiing with Daniel Connors and Dustin Martin in Euchca .

Recently having missed these movies as a kid Steve has been watching the Raiders of the Lost Ark Trilogy and is enjoying them immensely . He was put onto them by Damien Hardwick who loves Harrison Ford. Damien has also encouraged Steve to hire out Blade Runner when he gets the chance.
