There was a small article over here in The West Australian about how Armstrong wanted to come back home to WA because he wasn't getting an opportunity at the Demons. It wasn't anything new, we all know he wants to come back home, but the article mentioned that his form has been pretty good for your VFL equivilant. Is that true? If so why isn't he getting a game?

Thanks.

I don't think he works hard enough. His brief run of good form late 2002 showed us what he can do & I think he's lived off that since.

Not real quick & no great disposer of a football = a lot of work needed IMO.

Steven Armstrong is the new Chris Lamb.
Sure, he isn't a very good player, but neither is half the list running around in the reserves. Still doesn't stop them from getting a game.

For his sake, I hope he goes elsewhere and gets an opportunity.

Yeah hes been around a while, this weekend if he doesn't play some good footy i think he will be either traded or delisted. Although with all our new injuries he will be given a good shot

Can find the footy, and his disposal is decent, but he's just too small and hasn't got enough pace. It seems we are looking for the strong bodied type that are all over 180cm tall. Unfortunately, he doesn't really fit that bill.

I reckon he should have received a game earlier than this, but the selection crew don't rate him at all from what I can tell.

Very big chance of being traded/delisted at seasons end.
