I thought the appeals system was introduced to stop Supreme Court actions...wasn't that the key issue in the past, that the SC said that due process had not been achieved because of a lack of appeal system???

The tribunal have stated that they believe Baker's version of the events whereby he blocked Farmer off the ball trying to keep goal side of him
So Farmer runs into Baker they hit heads and Farmer breaks his nose and Baker gets 7 weeks
Yet if I am driving my car and I break without warning which I have every right to do and someone rear ends me - it is my fault
There is no doubt whatsoever that Baker has been absolutely rear ended!!!!!!
Absolutely disgraceful decision
The AFL is a complete and utter joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its still not hard to work out.Baker runs to Farmer hits him/bumps whatever,farmer down and help off ground with nose damage and cut to lip and no-one else within metres.
It may not be hard to guess what happened, but I would have thought you needed to prove it.

given Farmer had a broken nose, concussion and laserations (sp?) to his face...3-4 weeks seems acceptable, it is the 40% loading and 150+ points carried over from earlier in the season that got it up to 7 weeks
