First time May has thrown one. He is usually headbutting the fists of teammates

Guess that makes it okFrom what I heard. The so called victim is a salesman and sold a product to a so called AFL player who wasn't happy with the product. The altercation occurred after they bumped into each other again.
Tom Lynch knows one of the victims but he wasn’t even there.Steven May has form in this area. Repeat offender.

You've just answered your own question.Tom Lynch knows one of the victims but he wasn’t even there.
Don’t know why he’s been dragged into this.
Well one of the alleged victims claims May punched a person in the face.Mitch Cleary on SEN this morning said both Melbourne and Richmond have denied the players were involved in a physical manner. But we’re involved verbally. I guess in the absence of video footage the police would need to rely on witness statements.
Agreed. Just one of those things that goes away on its own (perhaps with the help of a brown paper bag).Well one of the alleged victims claims May punched a person in the face.
So May either goes to court defending an assault charge or the claimant goes to court defending himself for giving a false statement to police.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see neither party charged.
If May did what the alleged victim claimed then he should be held accountable. However if the alleged victim made a false claim, he should be charged. As well as the police interrogating him and all those involved in the fight. May has history, but we know nothing about the other party.Agreed. Just one of those things that goes away on its own (perhaps with the help of a brown paper bag).
Sure, but I'm talking reality here. Lot's of time and effort, what's the probability of getting a conviction etc.If May did what the alleged victim claimed then he should be held accountable. Steven May is a famous AFL footballer, 2xAA Backman and premiership legend, a brave fighter who went toe-to-toe against Golden Glove Jake Melksham at a South Yarra Burger restaurant. If he didn't know who his clientele was, who he was trying to rob, that's kind of on him. From what I heard. The so called victim is a salesman and sold a product to a so called AFL player who wasn't happy with the product. The altercation occurred after they bumped into each other again.
That's the reality in Japan. We're talking about Australia.Should plead guilty in Japan.
As a said earlier, I’d be surprised if it goes any further. 1.30am in the morning with some drunk youngsters goading some drunk AFL players. A fight ensued. One person was left well and truly injured. And the offended party well and truly knew they were afl players.Sure, but I'm talking reality here. Lot's of time and effort, what's the probability of getting a conviction etc.
No one is going to court for giving a false statement in a he said/he said case. Police will rely on witness statements and medical reports etc. and of course any footage if it exists.Well one of the alleged victims claims May punched a person in the face.

These are the only truths that both parties have been consistent on.
They must have been tied up with Belta or covering up JUHIf the AFL Integrity Unit (surely that's an oxymoron) haven't been called in yet, then the bodies are cold and in the ground. Play on!
I'd say people with money have a different set of rules.Dane Swan never got any jail time after him and his mates put someone in a coma.
AFL players have a different set of rules.
