Up until now i could see the reasoning for getting someone like a Mckee however thinking about it a bit more i Cant see the benefit of taking a Mckee if his sole role at the club is as a stop gap if Symonds or Staff get injured when we have someone like Ray Hall to fill that position if its needed.

McKee is a dead set hack. I'm not sure why any of use would be happy with McKee. I know a lot of people don't think much of Knobel but atleast Knobel wins the ball and regardless of what is said about him the fact is he played 20+ games in a top 4 side. How many did McKee play? Zantuck should be asked to take a pay cut otherwise pay him out. I wouldn't want anyone like that at Carlton!
Does anyone know if Knobel is asking for 150K then the Tigers wont be able to aford him? Cos if use take Knobel and we take McKee I will be very, very ********ed off.

$150k is next to nothing in modern footy. If that is all he wanted we'd take him. He is probably asking for at least twice that. A guy on minumum wage who plays 22 games would earn $100k and Knobel won't be moving for minimum wage.

You might get a good fullback for that price, but ruckmen earn a premium. Particularly when they are walking out of a club for a pay rise.
