Agree and that's what I've said before. I wasn't there so I don't know if Suban was tagging. He's a kid anyway and Stevens should know better. Stevens is hardly in farmer's league

As for clearly seeing the strike, that vision is about as clear as a mud so they should challenge based on that. You cannot tell if he had an open or closed fist.

by the way if for instance it was an open hand, then the report gets downgraded or dropped, what does the tribunal then call the incident, is it still a strike but a lesser degree?, do they change the forcefulness of the contact? or do they call it something else completly... there is too much grey area

In the case of head high contact it becomes a 'bitch slap'.

In both cases the perpetrator is 'disciplined' by way of 'severe reprimanding and humiliation' from the tribunal.

IMO it was a pretty soft, but will still be upheld.

If it is downgraded maybe he will only get a reprimand, but there was contact so go figure!

As for the calls to have him publicly beheaded due to stupidity, maybe there was extenuating circumstances who knows?

i think the club believe they can get the intentional down to 2pts which will be 181pts
(1 game)

with a chance it will be throw out

so a small risk with a small chance it will be throw out.
