Stephen Motlop was a much maligned player who arguably copped a lot more criticism than he deserved, but I will always have fond memories of that goal which buried the fruit tingles.
I wish him well in his retirement.

Yep. And many of the Indigenous players go up to the NT post their AFL career for the same reasons - to get together with brothers mob and community - oh, and the footy. Pretty bloody genuine imho.

Those talking about 'ring-ins' should take a look at the SANFL, and other city 2nd and 3rd tier comps. Sheesh.
