apparently Tingay pulled up well after a good hard workout on the field in very hot conditions.

Do any of you other Swans fans agree with me that we appear to be having our best pre-season for a number of years ?

Our new fitness coach, David Misson, seems to be making alot of difference this year with a pre-season program that has been long on variety and enjoyment and short obn the traditional 'flogging' type work that characterised pre-seasons in days gone by.

This week-long trip to the AIS in Canberra is another example of Misson's innovative and player-friendly approach to a pre-season.

Hope he's on the right track but from what I have heard about our pre-season, it seeems that he is !

Yeah, things are looking for the Swans for the pre-season, we always seem pretty rusty for the Ansett Cup and first couple of games of the regular season, hopefully that'll be different this year!

It's good to see that Stinga's going well and that he should slot in well into the Swans lineup. I was reading Inside Football yesterday and they reckon that Stinga's little 'hiccup' just before the pre-season draft was just a classic furfy to get other perspective clubs' off his trail. If that's true, it worked well!
